Las Tapas De Lola

Dublin
19/04/2026: Great atmosphere, great staff, Food Good but not top notch
15/04/2026: Gem of a place to eat at. Recommend eating at this Tapas restaurant. Booking highly recommended since this place is consistently busy, whilst we were eating we saw a large number of people turn away, since all tables were booked. Very relaxing environment to just eat and chat with friends and family. The waiter services is fantastic and you can rally feel the passion to dilvery a great dinning experience and top quality food. All the food we had we shared between two people and we ordered around 8 dish between 4 adults. All dish were presented nicely, but the tasty was sensational. We took a 20 minutes walk from temple Bar area, it was worth the journey. Thank for a great Dinning experience for my family on our trip to Dublin.

Port House Pintxo

Dublin
12/04/2026: The food was great! For a group of four, we got albóndigas, croquetas de jamón, empanada de pollo, patatas bravas, lemon garlic chicken skewer, and chickpeas with chorizo with a side of bread. For dessert we got the basque cheesecake and churros. All the food was wonderful, and we each had a different favorite dish. We also shared a pitcher of red wine sangria, which was priced well and strong! There were only two people working and they never caught our eye so we had to wait a long time to even be served initially, plus they didn’t explain how many servings we should get for our group size—luckily we guessed well! Our biggest issue was the lighting. We went in the evening while the sun was setting, and it was really dark and everything had a very yellow tinge. The food was unappetizing only because everything looked grey. When we shone a flashlight on the table, it looked great, but the grey lighting made everything taste the same.
12/04/2026: Nice little tapas bar with good choice of dishes in reasonable prices. Food was good, nicely served.bGood choice of wines. Service very friendly, very helpful, and quick. Good location. Nice place

The Port House

Dublin
06/01/2026: Great food and service, wine is very expensive
06/01/2026: We visited The Port House recently again, we had been before some time ago and were looking forward to some lovely Spanish tapas, but unfortunately, several dishes fell short of expectations. The Croquetas de Jamón were decent but a bit on the greasy side. The Gambas al Pil Pil lacked flavour entirely—no garlic, chili, or sear—and we couldn't finish them. We mentioned this to our waitress, who kindly offered a replacement, but we declined to avoid food waste, and the dish was removed from the bill without issue. The Chorizo al Vino was okay (I finished most of it as I was hungry), and the Patatas Rotas were average but acceptable. However, the Chicken Paella was mushy with an off flavor (kinda fishy), and we barely touched it (this wasn't adjusted on the bill). We had a couple of nice cocktails: Atlantic Twist and Clover Club. Our glasses of wine were fine, and our server was genuinely friendly and attentive. The front-of-house host, though, came across as quite unwelcoming upon arrival. Overall, a disappointing meal compared to what we'd hoped for based on previous visits.. Service from the waitress was a highlight.

Attico

Dublin
02/04/2026: It was a really great experience. We went for the early bird over the weekend and the staff were lovely, especially the manager who really looked after our table. The food was brilliant - pizza was just perfect. We’ll definitely be back, and their early bird deal is very good value for money

Aprile Restaurant

Dublin
03/05/2026: Very nice meal, good pasta, pizza and bruschetta. Only downside was we booked for 515, arrived 523pm and were told we would need to give table back 645, fine no problem. At 625 just after receiving kids ice creams (still eating) and paying bill, we were told “we need the table back” not even a please or would you mind. Surprised, we said just a few minutes to finish ice creams and then reminded the waitress we were told 645 not 630. She walked off. There was nothing else said not even ok finish your ice creams. Left a bad taste unfortunately.
26/03/2026: Another place that seems to want to redefine what a carbonara is. Pancetta instead of guanciale. Parmesan instead of pecorino. Cream for no reason whatsoever. If I order a gin + tonic do you make it with vodka? Just call it something else guys. It's not carbonara.

Port House Ibericos

Dublin
04/05/2026: Dreadful service will not be back
24/04/2026: Zero stars. Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. The portions were shockingly small for the price, absolutely not worth it. The pork in sauce had no taste at all, I can cook something far better at home without trying too hard. The paella was a joke, one prawn and one mussel in the entire dish. That’s not just underwhelming, it’s borderline insulting. The sangria was very diluted and lacked any real flavor. Service and seating made things even worse. We asked for a bigger table but were told it wasn’t possible, so me and my father were stuck sitting on the edge the whole time, uncomfortable and cramped. I go to Spain regularly, I even have family there, and I’ve experienced many Spanish restaurants including in Ireland. This is completely the worst experience I’ve had. Overall, one of the worst dining experiences. It completely ruins the Spanish vibe you’d expect. I would not recommend it to anyone.
