The best restaurantsof mexican in Dublin

12/08/2026: Been going to Hillbillys for years and this is definitely one of my favourites. The food is always fresh, tasty and properly made, and the place is spotless,tables, toilets, everything.Betty is always great. She’s friendly, has a lovely smile and actually takes the time to recommend something new from the menu. She always brings the food to the table as well, which is a nice touch. The coffee milkshake she recommended was absolutely lovely.I’m a big fan of the taco fries, gravy, goujons and bacon double cheese. Hard to beat when they’re done right! I used to go to the Fairview branch quite a bit, but to be honest the quality there has gone downhill lately. The toilet and lobby were very dirty, and the staff weren’t exactly friendly or interested in customer service.

10/08/2026: Best chicken tenders I have ever tried in my life. Also the taco fries are excellent. Amazing service and friendly staff.

18/08/2026: Good food, decent portions. I love the way the place is designed inside. Barely any people most days, which I love.

11/08/2026: If I could give less than one star, I honestly would I’ve been having lunch at Zambrero Beacon regularly, so I know what the portions are normally like. Unfortunately, today was a completely different experience The manager served extremely small portions of everything. I’m not sure if she was training someone or simply having an off day, but the amount of food was honestly ridiculous for what you pay On top of that, I was asked for an additional student card to validate the Student Meal. I’ve always used my Student Leap Card, and I was never previously asked for anything else Apparently, I’m now expected to carry another card from my college just to prove I’m a student, despite the fact that TFI already verified my student status when issuing my Student Leap Card🤷🏻‍♂️ Between the miserable portions and the unnecessary hassle over the student discount, the meal simply wasn’t worth the price Thankfully, there are plenty of other places around Sandyford where you can get a decent burrito bowl for your money

17/08/2026: Paid full price for half a bowl, have had hundreds of Boojums over the year. Never got skimpier servings than yesterday. Prices keep going up, quantity of food keeps going down.

13/08/2026: Always great burrito. Lost an overall star cause the pricing have skyrocketed. 30 euro for 2 burritos and 2 drinks. Madness.

15/05/2025: Wanted some Mexican and randomly came across this location as I was walking in the area. Service was pleasant, and there were a decent amount of options. Restaurant is a bit small, so if the local chavs aren't outside hogging the tables there's only a few places to sit inside. Felt like I got a good meal for the price paid, and it wasn't chain location glop.
