10/03/2024: Fantastic restaurant with a great vibe and interior. The food was delicious and affordable. We enjoyed the chicken fillet roll, chicken wrap, fries, and soft drinks, all for just 12.75 Euros. Ordering through the QR code on the table was convenient and easy. It's a perfect spot for a meal or a relaxing pint.

04/04/2024: I was left standing waiting to pay while 3 staff ran around joking with each other about their shifts and going through there rota and then I had to ask if they didn't mind could I pay them before my food went cold.

20/03/2024: The food was amazing, I spot it by the bright colours of the shop name. I got the tacos and the chicken was so full of taste and the tacos were crunchy and yummy. There is a student option which is also a bonus and the place is quite cozy.

11/03/2024: Experience from start to finish was a disgrace! Upon arrival I greeted the two staff and got ignored as they went ok their phones. Once I finally got service they slapped the food together, zero effort. When I arrive home and seen the mess they dare call a burrito I wanted to cry! Whole tortilla is falling apart, can’t even get a bite out of it, ingredients don’t taste fresh and everything is soggy! All this AND they overcharged me..Fair to say I won’t be back

09/03/2024: I'm a longtime fan of Hillbilly's but I have only ever tried the Walkinstown branch. I made my way to rathmines and I'm shocked at how truly poor things were across the board. Sitting here after paying €20 for a family bucket and I don't even get any boneless chicken or gravy? That's an extra cost. The bucket deal that gives you onion rings and two sauces for €16 in walkinstown literally gives you more food, more variety and it costs less. Why couldn't I swap 1 of the regular chips for onion rings? I had to wait about 20 minutes it was almost empty so no Saturday night excuses. When the food arrived I couldn't believe how bland and unseasoned it all tasted. The chicken was a shadow of what I would expect - it had no variety of spices, no depth of flavour you would expect from Hillbilly's. If you were blindfolded and served the same meal as me - you would think it any generic fast food place in the city. The gravy was so painfully bland - I'm convinced I was given some instant store bought white sauce that had some brown food dye in it. I was so displeased with the gravy I wished I ordered garlic mayo instead.. in an effort to wash down the cheapest, sharp, crunchy burnt twigs that masquerade as chips. Avoid this place like the plague.
