The best restaurants in Carrickmacross

28/07/2026: Gorgeous spot! We stopped today with our doggos. Beautifully dog friendly. The setting is fab, you’re in an industrial area but it feels like an oasis! Food was delicious, we had sambos. Coffee is A+, best iced coffee I’ve had out anywhere (cuz I make a mean one at home so am extra fussy!). Staff are exceptional, hope they are very appreciated by owners/management. Been a long time since I’ve encountered such great staff! Will definitely stop here again when we are passing!

26/07/2026: Visited today, service, food and staff wonderful. Highly rated, beautiful space, love all the flowers too.Worth diverting briefly from our journey from Donegal xxx Definitely worth a visit 😋😋😋

18/03/2026: Best pub in town, great vibes and service, comfy indoors and outdoors seats, good prices.

28/08/2026: Our wedding cake and cupcakes were made by the Dinkins Bakery and Cafe in Carrickmacross, and we couldn’t have been happier! They kindly accommodated us despite the short notice, and everything was absolutely amazing. The cake was not only beautiful but delicious too! We received so many compliments from our guests. We highly recommend them for any special occasion! ❤️

28/08/2026: My family and i have been going here for years and i love the cake and we love the taste every time, but this time i asked for a cake and i wanted a yelllow icing on the outside and chocolate on the inside and i got chocolate all over with no yellow icing and i asked for the picture on the picture on my cake and i got a different one and its bad quality, i even offen for them to take a picture of the cake picture and colour i wanted and they didn’t.Over all i love this place but would love if they would do what i asked for.

12/09/2026: Been to various Supermacs over the years and I've never been disappointed with their food. Carrickmacross was equally good but their service was ridiculously slow. I was 20 minutes waiting for a burger, there were only 2 people ahead of me and they had already ordered. I could see my burger sitting in the hot shelf for 10 minutes while the staff wandered around talking. I have family in Carrick who also commented on how slow it was. I've been in others and never had this problem. Sort it out Supermacs, the food is great, but 20 minutes for a burger and chips?

23/08/2026: Supermacs has always been great

02/04/2026: Enjoyed the food and atmosphere...

16/07/2026: Good food, served fast. Keep in mind is a take away. No tabel service.

13/07/2026: Had to wait over 2h for delivery, ridiculous. When I called the restaurant they kept hanging up and not answering the phone not just that but would leave the phone to ring for ages

18/09/2026: I called ahead to order a takeaway pizza and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I arrived on time, only to end up waiting for over an hour in total. To make matters worse, when I came in to pick up my order, no one even bothered to update me on the delay or tell me how much longer it would take—I was completely ignored. After such a frustrating and horrible experience, I completely lost my appetite. Absolutely unacceptable customer service.

26/08/2026: Delicious food at an authentic Italian restaurant
