12/08/2024: Dropped in for a take away on a recent visit to Carrickmacross, the shop looks lovely and seemed to have an engaging atmosphere so I would loved to have sat in but time did not permit. There was a hiccup with the payment (and I hadn't any cash on me) but the owner and staff were so sound about it, all I can say is that this shop is staffed by genuine human beings! Oh, and the coffee was top notch by the way!

18/11/2024: Dropped in for lunch with a few friends in late October. It was about 12.45 pm. I chose the roast beef but it appeared reheated before trying it confirmed it was yesterday’s. No flavour apart from melted fat and as dry as chipboard. I sent a polite email that evening but got no reply. Service was good but watch out if you’re in a bit early.
05/11/2024: Fantastic room, great help from the front desk at any time when needed.

02/08/2024: Such a lovely cafe. We really enjoyed our food. The staff were very helpful and efficient. A great spot for kids/babies too. Would highly recommend.
13/05/2024: Great place, lovely staff, a simple menu but everything on it is tastey and well made, almost all options avaliable gluten free!
Lovely coffee and tastey treats to go with, good parking just around the corner at a keen rate, you may need to wait for a seat but we'll worth it!

18/10/2024: Rocksalt CMX is a lovely little cafe and restaurant. The food and coffee are excellent and the staff are really helpful and nice. It's a lovely spot with its indoor and outdoor dining facilities. Nestled down at the Carrick Aces running track, it is a lovely place to pop into after or before a nice walk/run around the Convent Avenue walkway. Highly recommend anyone to go in and give it a try. You won't be disappointed. 5 star!

I couldn't see coffee menu with prices .
Great atmosphere but too many dogs with the owners at the time we were sitting outside of the cafe...Great spot for coffee and something to eat!

This bakery is simply outstanding! Matilda's offers arguably the best pastry in Ireland and possibly the best bread ever baked on the planet. Their coffee and all its variations, like cappuccinos, are stunning and unique. What truly sets this place apart is the staff; they are not only incredibly friendly, but they also work swiftly and lovingly, making you feel like you’re among best friends. A must-visit for anyone in the area!

01/09/2024: A pretty humble cafe from the exterior but clearly very popular with the locals. We were served by a lovely young Irish lad, very friendly and welcoming. Lovely full Irish breakfast and the best coffee so far I've had in Ireland, and prices are very reasonable.

20/01/2024: I was double charged for an item, and I returned to the store within three hours.
I was made to wait fifteen minutes ,while they checked the cctv. I have shopped there for years, but I haven’t set foot in it since then, nor shall I again. They steal from me and I am treated like a thief.
