The Eden Deli Café

10/09/2025: Went here on a recommendation and I couldn't have been more disappointed. Overpriced and under-baked cakes. €3.90 for carrot cake which was stodgy, heavy and very clearly under-baked. Photos below. The bakewell was the a little dry and lacking in flavour. Haven't tried the apple tart but im desperately hoping it will be delicious to justify paying almost €20 for as the rest went into the bin.
17/08/2025: My favourite cafe in the area. Staff are all really lovely and attentive. The sandwiches and salads are yummy and fresh, the coffee and cakes are great. Everything is very good value and always a relaxed atmosphere too. A small bench out the back to catch some lunch in the sun for summer days too, sometimes a furry friend even comes to say hello!

The Bakery at Acorn & Oak

15/08/2025: We had no booking but they were still happy to accommodate a party of 7. The food was delicious and the serve was quick and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant and hope to visit again soon.
04/08/2025: Solid take-away thin crust pizza after a day at the beach. The dough is more crunchy than chewy. The vegetable pizza has a good amount of toppings, and the cheese is evenly spread. All the ingredients are fresh except for maybe the jarred jalapenos which add a nice heat to the pizza.

20/10/2025: Lovely staff and place but the male toilets have been closed off for more than 2 weeks and the male customers make an absolute mess of the female and disabled toilets pissing on the floor. They should fix the mens toilet so they can make their mess separate from the civilized people. Otherwise it's good.
30/07/2025: Costa Coffee they do what it says on the pack ....this one is better than the usual ones.

26/05/2025: This was the worst Indian I have had. I ordered the jumbo prawn masala. 4 prawns. 4. And they were really rubber bullets mascarading as prawns. The rice was flavourless and sitting in a pool of water in the bottom of the tray. The other dish was a lamb rogan josh. I am told it was equally disappointing. The garlic and coriander naan was not puffy and again was seriously lacking in both flavours.
This was the second time I ordered from here and the 1st time was terrible too. But with so many great reviews here, I thought it must have been a bad night the 1st time. It doesn't appear so. You could see from my other reviews, that I don't usually post negatives but the difference between what I got and what the other reviews were saying was so vast I felt it needed to. Most of the dinner went in the bin.
16/02/2025: Best Indian I have had in a long time. Nan bread is sensational. Proper tikka cooked chicken.

19/04/2025: Food is absolutely delicious but lady on the phone is rude and incompetent, does not want to deliver 7mins away from their restaurant even if it’s a big order, when the delivery drivers say it’s no problem.
