18/07/2026: Chips were so hard and greasy from obviously being cooked in dirty oil. Service was very slow. Servers were very friendly and nice.In spite of asking for dairy free and being assured we could have it,we got gravy all over the dinner!!! Definitely will not be back.

27/07/2026: Surprisingly great hotel right in the middle of town. First off, it's huge - much bigger and more interestingly laid out than you'd first think, with plush furnishings and decor in the bar, restaurant and common areas. Rooms were massive and well equipped, and the breakfast buffet was excellent.
Overall, a very pleasant stay with free underground parking and a lovely welcome from the staff
27/06/2026: The Bistro at Lawlors of Naas served us the worst food ever tonight. Asked for Chips without salt they came out pickled.
Beef dish was disgusting beef tasted weird, big lump of cabbage and all served in a puddle of bisto.
Left our complaint with duty manager who also couldn't care less as he was just trying to get through the night with undertrained, understaffed, servers.
Will never return here again

22/02/2026: First time in straffon staying in the K Club for the night and we asked were to go just for a drink to watch the match staff were so nice we had a pizza to try and it was lovely highly recommend the pepperoni pizza also the locals that were in there were so friendly and welcoming will definitely call in again A++++

08/08/2026: Nice location but thats it unfortunately. Very expensive. €4.80 for an ice pop and €7 for a small milkshake is extortionate. Plus the coffee wasn't good at all, full of ground coffee bits

19/07/2026: Sat for 20 minutes in the bar waiting for someone to take my order . Waiter just stood at the bar chatting to the bar staff . Left my drink on the table and walked out . Only reason I left 4 stars is because the food is usually really good in the bar and cafe .
30/06/2026: I was meeting a couple of friends. I was giving one of them a lift home but they said they had lovely cups of coffee in the cafe.

05/06/2026: Do not be fooled by the simple and slightly messy look. The food and service more than make up for it! Everyone seems to be happy with their job, they treat you very well with a smile on their faces, that is so hard to find in hospitality nowadays. 🥇

22/02/2026: My breakfast was served long before my partners arrived to the table even though we ordered the same breakfast at the same time! Grabbed the occasional coffee/hot chocolate here when doing our shopping in Dunnes but they are very inconsistent. 90% of them are not worth the money. Cold lattes and hot choc and sometimes way too little chocolate in the hot choc. Like drinking foamy warmish milk with a few marshmallows on top that can't even melt. Won't be wasting our money here again.

The Oak Bar at the Westgrove

26/04/2025: We were down in the Westgrove Hotel for an event and we decided to have our lunch in here.
Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The service was swift. The food was delicious and fresh. It had a good ambience and the place was big so plenty of room.
