30/03/2024: My boyfriend and I are visiting in Kildare and walked past this place on our way into town. We decided to have breakfast here and MY GOSH the vegan options were EXCELLENT!!! we got the vegan French toast and vegan potato, red pepper, and onion hash. Highly recommend, 10/10! 😁❤️

26/03/2024: Plenty of parking for a motorhome to visit here. Had the turkey dinner. Really tasty and plenty for a hungry traveller. Great value.

23/03/2024: Been wanting to go here a while and I wish I gone sooner,the food is the best around, the service is very friendly. Going here every month for date night with my husband from now on. Can't wait for next time

06/03/2024: The food was ok - nothing to do with Spanish tapas but the quality was good - a bit overpriced. The service wasn't good at all, unfortunately. The staff should get more training for sure. When you go to the "wine bar" you would expect some sort of advice and a bit of knowledge about wines. The cocktails we ordered were a joke - €24 for 2 cocktails with no flavour and a dash of alcohol. It was a disappointment, we won't go back there.

04/04/2024: First time that I didn’t host Easter for all the family and chose The Fox and Hare to do it for me ! Had the perfect Easter Sunday in Cookes last week ,family travelled from Tipperary and Dublin our table was just perfect ,plenty of privacy, huge variety in an excellent menu .Tasted as good as the menu read. No waiting time but no hurried feel either. It was an outstanding success cannot thank Amy enough for her attention and all the staff Family have voted it will be our new tradition!! 28/03/2024: Have just spent an overnight in lawlors and to say it was a truly fantastic experience is an understatement... From our arrival to our departure the staff were wonderful,friendly and so helpful, the room was delightful so fresh and clean the bed so comfortable the bars and there are a few of them were great so well laid out. The restaurant where we had our evening meal was a true pleasure from starter to main to dessert all perfect could not fault in any way..I was so happy we chose Lawlors as it was for a birthday and the 4 of us all felt the same when leaving we will be back soon.. a special note had the pleasure to meet shona a manager there and to talk to her and see the passion she has for her job was wonderful to see in a person so young. Delightful we shall be back....and soon..
