04/03/2025: I have frequented the anvil on many occasions over the last few years
Always for it's lunch menu
The menu changes from day to day and is not operational on Sundays
In all that time I have found them reasonable excellent food
Would I return
I would and the answer is yes yes

13/11/2024: Had sandwiches in bakewell the bread was hard and stale and the rashers like cardboard all the food looked like it had been there for days and all the pastries out in the open no cover
25/10/2024: Dinner was lovely small portions and very expensive also €1.50 for extra gravy when dinner is €24.50 is a bit Irish
Won’t be visiting again
