28/06/2026: Had our medal award ceremony for local teen football team in The Anvil, the staff were friendly and kind to the players, food was excellent, premises were ideal for this purpose and they allowed us in beforehand to decorate etc. Food was lovely, all attendees highly complimentary and I could not recommend a better place for an event such as this, thank you to all in The Anvil for a great day.
23/06/2026: Popped in on a Tuesday night hoping to get food. The very attentive barmaid said that food stopped at 4pm. She was really helpful suggesting various places including Treacy's at The Heath. Thanks for the suggestion. It was fantastic.
Will drop in to your pub next time we're in the area.

Midway Foodcourt, Junction 17, M7
13/11/2024: Had sandwiches in bakewell the bread was hard and stale and the rashers like cardboard all the food looked like it had been there for days and all the pastries out in the open no cover
25/10/2024: Dinner was lovely small portions and very expensive also €1.50 for extra gravy when dinner is €24.50 is a bit Irish
