06/12/2024: First time in here a couple of weeks ago they had thi green curry on the specials had to try it. I did ask if they could swap the rice for chips not a bother to them. And the whole thing was lovely no disappointment what so ever. Got a brownie after and that was spot on to. Got a table by the fire which was needed for the baltic weather that day.

10/09/2024: Hello Lovely Staff of The Old Ground! Thank you so much for keeping my daughter's hand bag and wallet for a week until our village taxi driver from the west coast came through town again on an airport run! He said you were so nice and it smelled so good, he stayed for a lovely lunch too! You were grand and knew right away what he was looking for! We truly appreciate the extra effort, honesty, and kindness. The gesture was in keeping with how well we were taken care of at our visit. If anyone wants to be treated extraordinarily well and eat great food, this obviously the place to be. Thank you.

12/05/2024: Beautiful meal in Maxwell's tonight. Staff were super friendly and the food was exceptional. Had garlic mushrooms to start and chicken & beef main and couldnt fault it. Would definitely recommend a visit
