08/05/2025: Stopped in this cozy traditional pub during a vacation in Ireland. Very friendly owners, and the food was wonderful. The menu changes each day and numbers only a few items. And all are fantastic.
06/05/2025: Absolute gem of a spot. We found it by chance on our way home from Sligo to Dublin. Went in and immediately greeted by a lovely friendly face who gave us the high table by the window. The menu is simple but portions huge and the prices better than you'd get anywhere...and a free mi-wadi in the mix too was a lovely touch. Tiny spot with a lot of good food and character packed in.

06/05/2025: Please see below in the picture owner who rather wants to be despicable and rude at you for sitting outside on the benches then to explain kindly that those seats are belonging for the restaurant. I don't understand the mindset. Even if I am not a paying customer now you want to advertise your business as being friendly and welcoming so a none paying customer might one day decide to buy something. But no this person is greedy and demands money from you otherwise your not welcome. Discusting and backwards behaviour. Even if she paid me a million Euros I wouldn't come back!
25/04/2025: We stopped there on a rainy and chilly day. Got our coffees and lovely pieces of carrot cake! They do know how to make a cake! It was moist, delicious and super sweeeeeeet ❤️
Place was busy (around noon time), but the tables were available, service was fast! Prices reasonable and coffee good. Nice place to eat if you’re visiting Boyle Abbey as it’s super close!

16/03/2025: I've never been to Boyle and my daughter wanted chinese. So with a search online the neatest place was 22 minute drive away. I rang and booked a table. When we arrived the exterior was beyond rough looking, and we drove around to see somewhere else to eat. Arrived back and said look if not good we will just leave. Up the steep staircase, and went to a nice warm small restaurant. Our table was over looking the river. The food was AMAZING, FRESH AND SO TASTY . I would recommend
