24/11/2025: First and foremost I wanted to congratulate Jennifer and her team on how the hotel was looking... It was so beautifully decorated for the festive season. I attended the gala ball for the ABI and it was just fantastic from start to finish. The food was out of this world, compliments to the chef and his team. The wait staff were amazing 👏 👏. Its been a long time since I've been so impressed by a hotel and I will be recommending the ocean sands to everyone. I hope to return again soon. I'm visually impaired and delighted to know your hotel is dog friendly also. I brought her with me to stay during the summer and were extremely happy with everything., thank you so much for making it such a magnificent experience for me and I hope to see you all again soon. 06/08/2025: For one, internet, CRAP. Rooms were too hot and then we got fans and it was too cold. Beds felt like bricks. Too many mirrors, very creepy. Fridge would overheat when the door is shut, that’s not how a fridge works. Shampoo smells like poop. Ger better brands. Accidentally put body wash in my hair and it was supposed to be shampoo. Change the bottles bro 😛
08/06/2025: Just spent the last few days at this wonderful venue, the Hotel is very welcoming, the rooms are very sizeable with every accessory you might require. The Bar and Restaurant offers excellent dining and refreshments, the staff are extremely friendly and the service first class. The location is spectacular with sea swimming and excellent walks and if you are a golfer only 2 minutes to the first tee on the famous Enniscrone Golf Links. Continued Success and a venue I will certainly return to.

01/09/2025: As a family we had a wonderful dining experience at Surfs Up Cafe. The food and service was exceptional. So much to choose from the menu, highly recommend the goats cheese salad and fish basket. There is also a specials board with appetising choices, also plenty of choice on the children’s menu nothing to much trouble if you have a fussy eater.
Highly recommend the smoothies my daughter had the orange and mango which she thoroughly enjoyed.
We sat inside the cafe as it was a rainy day but there is also an outside seating area which would have been lovely to sit out on a sunny day.
Plenty of choice for dessert also nanny’s apple tart a firm favourite.
Overall I would highly recommend Surfs Up Cafe we will definitely be returning lovely food and friendly and helpful staff.

The place is very plain, not exactly Indian in appearance. Sharing stater for 2 would have fed 4 but meals we got were tasty and spicy.

11/02/2025: We had a lovely experience in Ait Eile last weekend. Service was excellent. Lovely choice of wines and the food was superb. I had cod which was absolutely delicious. Others had steak, salmon and a variety of starters. Apart from the steak being a little over cooked, the meal was just a lovely experience.
07/01/2025: I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Ait Eile, firstly I was warmly welcomed in by Tracy. There were lots of options for both adults and kids on the menu. Katie, my server, was really kind and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. After my mains I had a warm brownie dessert, it was unbelievable
Overall I would highly recommend Ait Eile to anyone looking for a clean and welcoming environment to eat.

03/07/2025: I recently tried this food truck and was completely blown away by their wood-fired pizza. The crust was perfectly crisp with that amazing smoky flavor you can only get from a real wood fire oven. Every bite was fresh, hot, and packed with delicious toppings. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into making each pizza.
The staff were super friendly and made the experience even better. If you’re a pizza lover, you have to check this place out. Easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, food truck or not. Highly recommend!

17/05/2025: The place was completely empty with no other customers around. Trash was scattered across the tables, being picked at by birds. I sat down with my 3-year-old daughter at a table near the road just to take a short rest and let her finish her ice cream. Instead of offering us a menu or even a glass of water, a staff member came out and rudely told us to leave. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
