We held our wedding here recently. Most guests travelled and stayed here. From the planning stage to check out Orla, Jennifer and the team were brilliant.
We held a pre wedding dinner the night before. We had around 30 people. We had a lovely meal and beautiful room off the bar with great views.
They could not have done any more for us. The day of the wedding checking with us, making sure everything was ready. Making sure we were ready.and not late ! Communication was great. And we were a hard crowd ! Loads of moving parts. I'm not kidding when I say they took the doors off for us. And the architraves were next on the list if they were needed. Nothing was too much to make our wedding perfect.
Orla,Jennifer, Mykala and every one took it all in their stride.
Food - delicious. We choose a different red wine from the wine list rather than the wedding wine list. And so many guests commented on how good it was. The rioja was a winner at our dinner!
Any challenges they faced were easily overcome. Any last minute changes were taken in their stride and done without any fuss.
Luckily we won't be getting married again! But we will come back at every single opportunity . Our guests will come back. They have patrons for life with all our families now. They made our family wedding into their family's wedding.
Orla knows we will forever be grateful for what she did for us

28/12/2025: Absolutely wonderful food and great coffees. The vegetable lentil stew with brown bread was light and flavorful.
21/12/2025: Homely and friendly cafe, they back a lot of personality and comfort into a small footprint. Had the seafood selection with chips and it was bang on, portion wasn't too big and everything tasted fresh and well cooked. Also received a complimentary slice of cake with my coffee to go, as the cafe was just closing for the Christmas.... nice touch!
Would recommend for casual dinning, family food, meeting for a chat and a coffee amongst good hearted people.

10/04/2026: The staff were the friendliest I've ever seen. The food was heavenly. I was able to turn my radiator up and down which was great. A fridge and safe in the room was so appreciated. The room wasnt cleaned as well as it could have been with the bin still full from last customers and no cleaning done while I was there. Also a buzzing noise in the room took a bit of getting used to. I'd definitely go back.

01/02/2026: Too many chips which were soggy and tasteless. They overdid the covering of the cod. I went there a few years ago and was disappointed and nothing has changed.

The place is very plain, not exactly Indian in appearance. Sharing stater for 2 would have fed 4 but meals we got were tasty and spicy.

11/02/2025: We had a lovely experience in Ait Eile last weekend. Service was excellent. Lovely choice of wines and the food was superb. I had cod which was absolutely delicious. Others had steak, salmon and a variety of starters. Apart from the steak being a little over cooked, the meal was just a lovely experience.
07/01/2025: I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Ait Eile, firstly I was warmly welcomed in by Tracy. There were lots of options for both adults and kids on the menu. Katie, my server, was really kind and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. After my mains I had a warm brownie dessert, it was unbelievable
Overall I would highly recommend Ait Eile to anyone looking for a clean and welcoming environment to eat.

03/07/2025: I recently tried this food truck and was completely blown away by their wood-fired pizza. The crust was perfectly crisp with that amazing smoky flavor you can only get from a real wood fire oven. Every bite was fresh, hot, and packed with delicious toppings. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into making each pizza.
The staff were super friendly and made the experience even better. If you’re a pizza lover, you have to check this place out. Easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, food truck or not. Highly recommend!

17/05/2025: The place was completely empty with no other customers around. Trash was scattered across the tables, being picked at by birds. I sat down with my 3-year-old daughter at a table near the road just to take a short rest and let her finish her ice cream. Instead of offering us a menu or even a glass of water, a staff member came out and rudely told us to leave. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
