The best restaurants in Tubbercurry

31/05/2025: On two separate occasions we have ordered different takeaway curries. On both occasions the food was nothing like a tikka masala or a butter chicken. It was more like a korma, very little spice, more like a vegetable soup with coconut. Used to be great 5 years ago. Sad to say something has changed for the worse.

27/04/2025: Went to restaurant for my birthday. Saturday waited 35 minutes for a menu. 30 minutes to take our order. I ordered. King prawn puri. Was absolutely flavourless zero indian spices badly presented. My son had tandoori mixed grill the meat was dry and he never got the curry sauce at all. I ordered tandoori garlic. I got completely the wrong dish. So sweet it was vile. Like a coconut korma baby food. The lamb in it was chewy and tough. The naans were like flatbread not fluffy. Terrible service bad food. This is no way authentic indian food. Zero indian spices in anything. Purely bland. Will not be returning.

07/06/2025: Went there for lunch, clean and tidy, staff need more training, communication problems, for town centre , needs for charm.

02/02/2025: Absolute brilliant family run hotel on teeling street in sligo great attentive staff, excellent food large car park all round plesent place to stay in sligo
