El Celler
Dublin
16/08/2026: This place should be better known! We have been several times and each time it has been really delightful. This time we had visitors from the USA, so were a large party. We ordered all the starters, all the tapas, some albondigas and all the desserts (with extra churros for the youngest person). Everything was terrific and an education in tapas. It really tastes like you are in Spain or, more precisely, Catalunya. We got to try so many different things and it was certainly enough food. The price was very fair for Dublin and the wine is good value too, with relatively little markup. The staff were lovely, as always, and very keen to help, in this case for us to sit outside. Our tip: order lots of bread to soak up the sauces.
02/08/2026: An absolute gem!
The space is stunning and the staff are so welcoming. Our waitress was super knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. We ended up opting for the tasting menu. There were four of us, three omnivores and one vegan (me), and our waitress ensured that there were plenty of options for all of us to be satisfied. Highlights were the asparagus and the aubergine ❤️ but everyone enjoyed it all. We had a lot of food but only needed to bring a little home with us. We heated the patatas bravas for breakfast this morning and I’ve just had leftover stuffed pasta for my dinner this evening! Desserts were gorgeous. The truffle in particular was dreamy and is vegan! Lots of great drink options. Our waitress even made up a mocktail for me since I’m pregnant. Very well priced. Can’t wait to return!
