29/10/2025: Absolutely disgraceful experience. Ordered a Seafood stir fry and literally got 3 prawns and tinned tuna...not joking! I had to pay extra for the seafood option so what I expected was an actual seafood medley like prawn, shrimp, crab, white fish etc definitely not worth the price!!! I requested a refund but it was declined. I would've gotten up and left the restaurant if I was eating in so I feel they should respect customers no matter what..very disappointing.

28/10/2025: I had eaten here some time ago and am just now getting around to reviewing it. Kyoto is, without a doubt, one of the best Asian restaurants in Waterford. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced, and the service staff are excellent. I noticed that many of the staff are WIT (now SETU) students working part-time. I've been here several times, and a staff member named Charlie (a student from Malaysia) was incredibly helpful, offering great advice on the food and life in Waterford. I highly recommend this restaurant!

17/12/2025: Was delighted this restaurant accommodated us for a 9:20 seating when their kitchen closes at 9:30. I've been coming here for years as it's a reliable and convenient place in Dundrum. Ordered the Duck Panang and brown rice. Was really a large portion but probably a little Spicer than normal. We really couldn't finish our portions so we took them to go, added a can of coconut milk the next day and it was the perfrct lunch and even nicer.

16/12/2025: Infrequent customer, but long-running advocate who has always enjoyed Siam in every aspect. On this occasion, I was in Dundrum with guests from overseas who have never eaten Thai food before, so we made an impromptu drop-in to Siam upon my insistence. Although we had no table reservation, the staff were kind enough to accommodate. We started in the beautiful Candlelight Bar for cocktails, before heading down to our table where I asked for our bill to be transferred. Everything was perfect up until this point, as the remainder of my experience was filled with frustration and unease by our waiter's rude demeanour and unattentiveness throughout. A simple question re. the menu prompted visible irritation in our waiter from the outset. He subsequently returned, deciding to completely ignore me and rather focus on my guests who, as it happens, do not speak any English. I flagged this to his attention, and still needed to ask him twice if he could stand nearer me so that I could give our order and avoid talking over my guests in doing so. He reluctantly approached nearer while upholding the very same discourteous attitude from earlier. Once the order was made, he never returned at will despite passing our table on numerous occassions. I needed to call for his attention for extra plates, and once again water for the table. Our food came out quick, and there was an impression of general urgency in the restaurant. Our bill came upon request, however did not include our order from the Candlelight Bar. This was genuinely not noticed by myself as I didn't take the time to fully check line by line. I wanted to pay and leave given the unease of how the evening transpired. After clearing the bill, the staff then approached with a seperate bill from the Bar, with a subtle insinuation that we were trying to pull a fast one. Once this was cleared (and mild embarrassment addressed with my guests) they used the WC and I decided to speak with the manager. She was incredibly respectful and understanding, and in fact spoke to me earlier that evening to inform and advise on the Early Bird menu - allowing us to arrive at our table 5mins early to avail of it. She did not have to do this, which showed real sincerity which I appreciated. She was professional and pleasant, as was the person who served us at the bar. My only gripe was with the person who served our table in the restaurant. We also never received any tea/coffee which was part of the Early Bird package, albeit we never thought to ask. However I think its incumbent upon the staff to ensure the option was there and made clear, particularly if you're paying for it. But again there was urgency in the air which really steals from the ambience and attentiveness I once really appreciated at Siam Dundrum.

01/06/2025: We had Saba cater a confirmation party for us. The food was delicious (the crispy chilli chicken) and the service was seamless. Alan was so unobtrusive setting up the food. The whole process removed a lot stress for us. Everyone was raving about the food.

30/11/2025: Disgrace waited 2 hours 45 mins for cold food never again what a joke ye shouldn’t open doors or get better staff and not first time bye bye camille never again going even though was one of our favourite

28/11/2025: Ordered online. No update provided throughout other than the order being accepted. After 1 hour I tried to call the restaurant. Tried to ring 3 times each time placed on hold for 5 minutes, never got to speak to a person. My partner drove to the restaurant (10 minutes) to be advised that it was out for delivery but unsure where. Food eventually arrived and was lukewarm. We usually enjoy Camile but based on this service, we won't be ordering again

26/04/2025: I ate here last Saturday 19th April with two others..... At a previous time before I ordered a starter of beef strips and nasi goreng for main course....the starter was absolutely ridiculous...I'd would have received more meat on a chicken Wing. However I decided to give it another try again as the quality of food was always excellent. This time starter was baby back ribs and received 3....surely 5 would be average My wife ordered the chicken wings and received 4... we would have expected 5-6 I believe I paid €9.50 for the ribs which was absolutely ridiculous My wife was very disappointed with the quantity of wings received also. Main course was sizzling beef with fried rice and received what I would consider a very small portion of rice. My wife and I both ordered from the main menu not the early bird... and I would have expected more because of this. We were very disappointed with the meal and it being a firm favourite to go with the family occasionally. The staff were lovely and professional and the quality of the food is excellent but sadly I feel that the quantity has reduced dramatically much to my disappointment.... Unfortunately I will be going elsewhere in future....
