31/03/2025: Let me start by saying that I took a takeaway Pad Thai which was delicious and the portion was really generous. Average price, although for a takeaway I would have expected slightly less. Fast service. Friendly staff.
18/03/2025: Excellent authentic PAD THAI with green tea, fresh ginger and lemon.
Really enjoyed it and the ambience.
Found it while waiting for train to Sligo.

27/02/2025: Beautiful food and such a friendly service! I was visiting family here and liked Aroi so much I went twice in one week. We were served by Alvin, and I had Nasi Lemak which was just like I remembered from my trip to Kuala Lumpur a few years ago. Can't recommend highly enough!

22/03/2025: I tried Kyoto for lunch with a friend who strongly recommended it and I wished I could have a larger meal!
Instead we didn't have so much time and I was due to have a large dinner that night, so I opted for something lighter.
The sashimi was delicious. One of the best I have ever had. The slices were thick, probably twice white size I am used to. The fish was fatty and well prepared.
This is one of the courses that one cannot fake. The ingredients are either good or not.
And they were.
Looking forward to going back there to try the rest of the menu!
26/02/2025: Food great . Huge portions . Friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble at all . Bring cash for a tip as we forgot to add it electronically then had no cash for a tip .

03/04/2025: I've been coming to this restaurant for five years because I really enjoy Thai cuisine. However, the quality has been declining over time. My biggest issue is with the egg fried rice. I understand that they might keep the rice ready, but the egg should always be freshly cooked and mixed in. Every time I order, I get rice that has clearly been reheated multiple times, making it dry and crumbly. Unfortunately, it's become almost inedible. I really hope they improve this because I used to love this place.

17/03/2025: I ordered miso ramen, but the soup didn't taste like miso at all.
The flavored eggs had a bad smell, and everything, including the noodles and vegetables, was so watery that it was not edible at all.
The time from ordering to being served is quick, but that's not the important point. Even if the food comes out quickly, I think it's different if the food is of a pre-prepared quality.
It is never recommended for Japanese people to go eat here.

16/03/2025: I am writing this review literally minutes after leaving the restaurant.
First thing I will say is the food is good. However, if your favorite type of dining experience is paying 40 euro and leaving hungry then this is the place for you!
I had the pad Thai for 16:50, a standard price but there was definitely more way more plate than food. I might be mad but normally when I leave an Indian restaurant there’s leftovers to take home.
My partner ordered the railway lamb curry which was 17.99 for a ,no joke, SOUP BOWL, with 4 bits of lamb and a single cube of “Wexford potato”. No rice, no chips, a literal starter portion soup bowl for 17:99. Rice had to be ordered separate at 3.99. Our total came to 38:48.
After paying the bill, I brought this to the attention of our waiter who brought out who I assume was the manager, who told me this was a standard portion for the lamb and that he will have a word with the chef. Why are you having a word with the chef if you’re positive the standard is four bits of lamb and a cube of potato.
On top of this, you are allowed to choose whether you want the dish to be mild, hot or spicy. My partner asked for her soup bowl of lamb to be spicy and I don’t know what they think spicy is but I’d get more spice out of a plain scone.
A cliché, but I’m not someone to leave negative reviews of places. There was no real apology from the manager who just kept nodding at me waiting for me to leave. I know when people see a review like this they think it’s unfair to leave one side of a story so I actually implore the readers to go to this restaurant and order exactly what we ordered.
I have my receipt and I genuinely wish I took a picture of the bowl to show you how much I am not exaggerating the situation. I am not looking for a refund or any form of compensation. All I’m saying is that I’m going home with a bad taste in my mouth because we just went to the most expensive soup kitchen in the country. Beautiful decor though.
