Thai Station in Sallins

After a good interaction with management that lead to a refund I have changed this to a 3 star from a 1 star review. We will give them another chance at a future date, and if the service has improved and the food quality is as expected I will review again. Below is the original review for context: Poor in all respects. Avoid. Our food arrived 1 hour 10 minutes after the quoted time, and 2.5 hours after we placed the order. It was clear the food had been sitting prepared and for a long time before it was handed to a driver. It was wet and soggy, almost stone cold, and all of the meat was tough as leather and clearly not fresh. Roughly 70-80% of it went in the bin. We ate what we did only because we were starving. When we rang the restaurant for the fifth time, we were offered replacement food that would not have arrived for over an hour. That is not a reasonable response. The situation called for an immediate full refund, not "you'll have to contact management." During the entire delay, the restaurant never called us. When we rang them, we got excuses, such as the "2 minutes" quoted being for a different order, or the food being ready and just waiting for a driver. At one point we were told it was definitely out for delivery, and 40 minutes later we had to ring again. It is very clear the restaurant cannot cope with the volume of orders it takes and has no capacity management. There was also no manager available to deal with these serious failures in service and quality.

the best curry i ever had before, will come back again

The best Thai Green curry money can buy!

I visited a friend in Sallins and, on my way home, stopped by Thai Station & Sushi Bar for some takeaway food. I ordered the Chicken and Prawn Chilli Cashew Nuts with fried rice, along with the Crispy Prawn Sushi. After a 40-minute drive home, the food was still warm enough to enjoy without needing to reheat it. The Chilli Cashew Nuts dish was absolutely delicious. The homemade oriental sauce was exactly to my taste, and the chicken was thinly sliced, making it perfect for the dish. The Crispy Prawn Sushi was incredibly fresh and full of flavour as well. A big thank you to the chefs and staff at Thai Station & Sushi Bar Sallins for the freshly prepared food and excellent service. It really made my day, and I will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!
