27/03/2024: Was in at the weekend, again. They never let us down and once again, delivered a wonderful experience. Staff are great, food was delicious and we will be back again!

20/01/2024: Great to see this pub open again, a village like Sallins needs alternatives, a bar no food, great spot to relax wit nice coffee after a long walk, I will definitely keep a visit in the summer in mind and have a few pints after my walk

14/08/2023: Florence and Milly is a wonderful place to visit. When my kids were younger they loved to go and paint pottery. I have done adult watercolour and pottery classes and have always found the warmest of welcomes, and the most amazing teachers. Plus the coffee is the best around.

24/02/2024: We booked the Steak special for 2.
Had bread basket for starter which was really nice, in particular the brown bread was great.
We were never asked how we wanted our steaks which led to a slightly awkward situation having to ask later only to find out our steaks were already prepared and resting. I know chefs always recommend steaks to be served medium but to just assume this is the guests preference without asking is a bit odd.
The steaks did come out the way we asked in the end and absolutely delicious served with roasted parsnip, parsnip puree, chips and some rocket salad.
We were charged for something we didn't order but it was swiftly removed from the bill when pointed out. Wine/water prices differ slightly to what's listed online.
The restaurant's interior is a bit bland (dark and grey) with no real ambience.
Great food quality that reflects the prices but overall experience is not a 5 star one.

The detail in the food here was exceptional, and the taste was every bit as good. A very warm greeting and lovey location overlooking a canal. Great veggie and pescatarian options too!

19/03/2024: Decent country pub, sat in the bar. Most importantly the pint of Guinness was very good. Just stopped for one. Quiet as it was a Tuesday evening.
Didn't have food but does Guinness count? €5.50 a pint.
20/01/2024: Good company and 2 lovely ladies behind the bar. Refused a lift on my bike....such a shame. No bike tonight so no lift offered.

18/02/2024: Great coffee shop with homemade cakes and great coffee, also love the secure area at the rear of the shop to leave your bike, would highly recommend.
10/02/2024: Great friendly chef owner. Decor bright and airy - it's like one is eating outside. I tend to frequent for eggs and salmon breakfast.

16/09/2023: So disappointed. Told my wait would be an hour, arrived 25 minutes after the hour, only for the order to be wrong! Got no help, didn't get my order and ended up having to walk to another Chinese. Will never be back.

26/02/2024: I always like their food, today I did a mistake that I didn’t see, I add my neighbour house number, I was waiting for so long so I called and they hung up to me so many times. I was trying to find a solution as my neighbours said they don’t know( so probably they ate my food) and they girl was saying that ask then for another order 😡 I mad at her also as I can’t believe she didn’t know how the delivery was lost and this state is really safe. I was really trying to find out my food but the day wasn’t helping too much. Even I didn’t know I made that mistake I ask for support to see if the guy can found out about it as I think next food was lying about the food, I paid 21 + euros 💶 that I lost feeding other people. I would suggest be nicer and don’t be rude hunging up when we were trying to get some help from them.

16/01/2024: Wide choice of takeaway food here. Really busy which is a good sign. Prices good compared to other similar chippers. Pizzas good too. Bit of a wait because of how busy it was. Parking an issue here. Would go back again.

15/10/2023: Looked at the match All Blacks and Ireland. Great atmosphere. The result was not the one we wanted. But a great Irish team. The pints went down well. Kevin C.
