Lock 13 Bar & Restaurant, menu in Sallins

Such a lovely experience, today I visited with a group of people with intellectual disabilities through work, the staff were amazing. Staff were so accommodating, patient and kind and made our group feel very welcome. Food was absolutely amazing as well . Thank you very much!

Very generous portions. Huge onion rings, delicious potato crusts. I couldn't finish a thing!

The pint of their own pale ale I had was nice but I waited while 3 barmen sat about chatting. So service wise not great. Looks to have a great selection of beers..I was just passing. Hopefully just a 1-off but as a former barman I would not have left a customer waiting when I was obviously not busy.

Upgrading previous review due to MAJOR food improvement. Beautiful venue with excellent service. Some tasty local beers made on prem. Exciting 3 course kids menu. I had the €20 steak and eggs and it was a triumph. I’ll be back . Well done to the new management team

Lovely presentation of food , we sampled tacos, nachos, steak , venison stew, and. Chicken fillet burger , still here and coffee and deserts on the way , lovely staff and a friendly welcome. The brewery is visible from the restaurant through glass window and adds character to this lovely restaurant by the canal .

If we stop in Salins again we would return for dinner or lunch... staff seems helpful and well trained... Food was excellent and children's menu really worth the value.

Excellent quality food. Expensive but well worth it and good value generous portions you will not go hungry. Service is friendly and efficient. Nice cosy feel to the restaurant with a lot of character. Has a large outdoor area which is dog friendly and I believe they have a bicycle station for any quick repairs if you are coming off the greenway. This would be an excellent stop of the green lots of space to bring your bicycles.

We have always been huge fans of Lock 13 from the food to the cocktails, nothing ever disappoints! We recently had our Day 2 of our wedding here and again it did not disappoint. Luke and Dan were a pleasure to deal with and nothing was any trouble. The area was perfect size and the finger food menu is very reasonable. Everyone is still commenting on the delicious food! Very much enjoyed our meal . The food was very tasty. We shared fish cake as a starter and I had chicken burger as mains and my husband had the fish and chips . I asked for no sauce which was done . Tables are nicely spaced that your not on top of the other people
