Great place for a coeliac to go to, their brown bread and scones are delicious!
Great range of desserts on show- the coffee cake was beautiful!

19/12/2024: We had the day 2 of our wedding in The Castle and the lads couldn't do enough for us, Mark, Darren, Fergal and Rachel thank you so much for everything! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely as always, everyone had a great night and our family from County Down are dying to come back the next time they are down!
21/10/2024: Top pub ,great welcome, good pint of Guinness, had the Crack with a few locals.,Richy, Paddy,and Jeremiah.Only down side there are a fee Chelsea fans ,but we sorted them out 2-1. Will definitely be coming back ,Thank you .

07/02/2025: One of the nicest places I've eaten in a long time. Beautiful food. Staff were excellent, attentive and accommodating. Big portions, everything that came out of the kitchen looked lovely. Had the vol-au-vent and the chicken burger. Great flavour. Worth the trip from limerick and will make it my business to return. 5 stars for the food.

Great atmosphere friendly reception, the beer was excellent.

13/02/2025: Stopped for 4 nights, 2 of which the rooms had no water. So no showers or flushing toilets. No hint of an apology or refund from the staff on the desk!
On the plus side the staff in the bar/restaurant were great

The Pantry Café

15/01/2025: Ordered The Big Bird. What a let down, a thin slice of 'meat' with a little melted cheese on lettuce with a little cranberry jelly. I'm not too sure if the bread/roll was sourdough or what but it was not worth €9.
02/10/2024: Nice and clearly popular local eatery. Staff were attentive and warm. I got the carbonara. I'm a purist when it comes to this dish, so I'm none too keen on it feeling stodgy with cream and lacking in black pepper. But it was competent and satisfying. I'll definitely return to try other menu items.

12/01/2025: Enjoyed a fabulous meal for 4 adults here,2 steaks,a lasagne & a pizza.No complaints,food was top notch.Also had 3 desserts,creme brulee,tiramisu & banoffi pie. First visit,will go again.Lovely atmosphere,music from the Godfather playing,chianti bottles as candle holders,all very atmospheric! Great service from the chef who also served us! Highly recommend.A complimentery shot offered for the birthday boy and dessert with candle also,well done!
09/01/2025: Just got 2 fish and chips fish batter was rock hard couldn't eat it fish wasn't great either very surprised usually great food
