15/10/2025: My friend and I had a meal in this establishment Wednesday 15th October. Once you walk in the door you enter a cosy homely atmosphere. We were greeted by Colleen who I must say was the most pleasant young lady I have ever met in a restaurant. She has a tremendous personality and was so helpful and engaging while we were there. The food was top class, wine excellent and considering it was early the restaurant was half full.
I will definitely be returning.

26/08/2025: Outstanding friendly service from the women running the team. Young people as baristas and food runners seem to be learning hospitality from them. Really good! The food was a treat. Nice coffee and tea service and timely meal service. Environment feels upscale for his Nenagh town center which can be a bit tired. Went on a Saturday not I g around 10 and waited a bit to sit - lots of locals enjoying the place.
Take the bill up to the register to pay when ready.
13/08/2025: Got the breakfast bagel, was superb quality! Fast and friendly service. It’s always a good sign when people are queuing up to get in. Will definitely be back.

11/07/2025: People with decent food taste and coffee expectations look elsewhere. Well the place looks nice. Food was quite basic considering the price. Didn't have much flavour and we chose the safe options like French toast and pancakes. The waitress must have been quite new so I can understand the lack of hospitality skills. When a customer says something is missing from the order most places will offer to remake it. No she just stated it was made correctly and walked away. I sent it back then she was asking if she should still charge us. Disappointed is putting it lightly.
07/07/2025: As a meat eater, I was unsure of what to expect from the choice of food. I have yet to leave this café disappointed with the food or service. The food is so tasty and the quality is top notch. The staff are friendly and very polite. The café is under new ownership and there is a new lease of life to the place because of this. Great coffee too.

05/07/2025: Really nice gluten free cafe.. limited options, sandwiches, soup, Quiche.. gorgeous selection of treats, desserts and crumbles. The seating area is very poor, limited seating available. The Cafe lacks ambience, no atmosphere, the decor is bland. But as a coeliac it is a delightful experience. .

The Castle Cafe coffee shop

19/08/2025: If you’re in Tralee, this is the bar you can’t miss. Start here, as you can then make your way into town and discover the other bars on the way down. Perfect starting place. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the clientele are the best Tralee has to offer. Great for watching a match or supporting the Rose of Tralee. Don’t skip it.
23/07/2025: I stay in tralee a lot for work and love the castle bar. Great place for watching sports. Great staff with lovely friendly mix of local folks and not so local like myself

28/10/2025: Dropped by this afternoon for a late lunch. The café has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food was fresh, well-presented, and full of flavour, especially the chicken and broccoli bake. The staff were friendly and attentive.
Loved the overall setting which was calm, clean, and comfortable. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

18/08/2025: Dined here with my family a few weeks ago and it was absolutely fabulous! The food is clearly homemade, and you can taste the quality in every bite. Portions are generous and well worth the price. The staff are pleasant, friendly, and make you feel right at home. The restaurant itself is spotless and very clean, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

Great National Abbey Court Hotel

18/10/2025: Stopped here to get some food and a rapid charge as there is one ESB rapid charger.
The portions were a good size and it was good value for money.
17/09/2025: Very pleasant hotel within walking distance of town centre. Staff pleasant and welcoming. Rooms clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

16/10/2025: I had a fantastic experience at Bistro 41, The service was top notch, my server Seamus was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I had the chilli chicken with egg fried rice, which was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. For dessert I had the brownie was rich, warm, and absolutely delicious. My friend had the carbonara with added chicken and said it was amazing. Highly recommend for both the food and the service!
