02/08/2025: Such a lovely place to go for a meal All courses were just lovely and the atmosphere and service was great I booked on line and had said about my wife's allergies and when we were seated the waiter let us know that he and the kitchen were aware of the allergies This was a first for us and made the dining experience all the more enjoyable Would highly recommend and the price was in line with most places

26/08/2025: Outstanding friendly service from the women running the team. Young people as baristas and food runners seem to be learning hospitality from them. Really good! The food was a treat. Nice coffee and tea service and timely meal service. Environment feels upscale for his Nenagh town center which can be a bit tired. Went on a Saturday not I g around 10 and waited a bit to sit - lots of locals enjoying the place.
Take the bill up to the register to pay when ready.
13/08/2025: Got the breakfast bagel, was superb quality! Fast and friendly service. It’s always a good sign when people are queuing up to get in. Will definitely be back.

The Castle Cafe coffee shop

19/08/2025: If you’re in Tralee, this is the bar you can’t miss. Start here, as you can then make your way into town and discover the other bars on the way down. Perfect starting place. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the clientele are the best Tralee has to offer. Great for watching a match or supporting the Rose of Tralee. Don’t skip it.
23/07/2025: I stay in tralee a lot for work and love the castle bar. Great place for watching sports. Great staff with lovely friendly mix of local folks and not so local like myself

03/09/2025: It is a lovely restaurant but every time I go in there the blonde woman always gives a dirty look and does be rushing us to leave in the middle of eating our food and this is really disrespectful coming from a restraint with a good rating not at all very ignorant staff wouldn’t even give this place a 2 star never mind 5

11/07/2025: People with decent food taste and coffee expectations look elsewhere. Well the place looks nice. Food was quite basic considering the price. Didn't have much flavour and we chose the safe options like French toast and pancakes. The waitress must have been quite new so I can understand the lack of hospitality skills. When a customer says something is missing from the order most places will offer to remake it. No she just stated it was made correctly and walked away. I sent it back then she was asking if she should still charge us. Disappointed is putting it lightly.
07/07/2025: As a meat eater, I was unsure of what to expect from the choice of food. I have yet to leave this café disappointed with the food or service. The food is so tasty and the quality is top notch. The staff are friendly and very polite. The café is under new ownership and there is a new lease of life to the place because of this. Great coffee too.

05/07/2025: Really nice gluten free cafe.. limited options, sandwiches, soup, Quiche.. gorgeous selection of treats, desserts and crumbles. The seating area is very poor, limited seating available. The Cafe lacks ambience, no atmosphere, the decor is bland. But as a coeliac it is a delightful experience. .

Great National Abbey Court Hotel

20/08/2025: Very nice hotel, comfortable room, standard English breakfast. Shower solution is not the best, but that is typical for the whole of Ireland.
I would like to highlight the cosmetics, they were super good quality!
13/08/2025: We recently stayed here for a small family reunion and it was a very nice weekend and we were treated very well. The staff were very helpful.

The Pantry Café

18/08/2025: Dined here with my family a few weeks ago and it was absolutely fabulous! The food is clearly homemade, and you can taste the quality in every bite. Portions are generous and well worth the price. The staff are pleasant, friendly, and make you feel right at home. The restaurant itself is spotless and very clean, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

Cinnamon Alley

26/08/2025: Woof. Made our way here in desperation on an August sunny Sunday morning… very little open in the area. There is a sign at the end of the walk street to help guide you to the literal alley. No smell of cinnamon, amusingly. Folks were seated outside with foods they seemed ok with.
Walked inside to find three staff and not one greeted us, or even looked up.
We stood there a minute or so, turned and left.
28/07/2025: First time trying this place out in Nenagh!! It had just opened so can’t rate the atmosphere!! Staff were the best part of the experience, so nice and accommodating. The food was nice. Would eat here again. Worth a try if in the area
