The best restaurants in Nenagh

15/02/2025: Had a few afternoon drinks and a few of us had lunch nice friendly staff even tough we were a bit loud at times with our laughing but will go back again in November when we are in the area again you have been warned in advance 🤣.

09/02/2025: Just been here staff nice although probably worst beef dinner by far i had ever had 🤮! Straight from microwave a tint over gravy beef and Yorkshire burnt to a crisp beef like a foot ball definitely rubbish for me🤢👎🏼

14/01/2025: I am saddened by the news to hear that chapter 2 will not be reopening after the new year. It had friendly staff, amazing food, and a lovely atmosphere. I wish all the staff and management the best in their future endeavours. Thank you for your service.

25/05/2025: My first time here. Had monkfish and prawn thai red curry with veg fried rice which was delicious, lovely apple/almond cake with ice cream for desert. Bottle of white. Sat in the back garden area which was really nicely decorated and felt comfortable and relaxing. Staff was attentive and friendly. Thank you!

12/05/2025: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I am not the guy to give 5 stars across the board. I don't remember the last time I did! Bistro 41 earned these 5 stars! Two weeks into our trip to Ireland, and I can honestly say this was the BEST FOOD I have had the chance to eat. SHOUT OUT to HAZEL!!! I told you Hazel that I would include you in this review. 😀 I had the Chicken Satay, and after the first bite I couldn't believe my taste buds! The food was the most flavorful I can remember anywhere in a very long time! Absolutely delicious! If I have the chance, I'll eat at Bistro 41 again before I leave, and probably have the same dish! The service was great, the people so friendly, and of course, HAZEL, was a joy! My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, and I would give this my highest recommendation to anybody looking for a tasty meal and a friendly staff. If you are in the lovely town of Nenagh, don't miss this place. You'll be very pleased! Thanks, Hazel!

26/03/2025: It is lovely inside since done up but service has gone slower. We were waiting +25 minutes for our food.

11/03/2025: Ive come here a few times over the years. The quality of coffee and food is good but a little pricey for what you get in comparison to other local cafes. The all round vibe is nice however I noticed the last time I ordered drinks the customer service was a bit abrupt and cold by what appears to be a new worker. It was a very different experience to the usually very friendly staff there. I said hi and I was blatantly ignored and then when my drinks were brought to me it was silent and awkward which made me a little put off. Perhaps a customer service lesson to new employees would be beneficial.

19/03/2025: Bit pricey charging €10.00 for small (one glass full) bottle of procecco. All other pubs I was in in Nenagh charged €6.00.

26/04/2025: The food was quite good, Pad Thai was good, chicken was tasty, staff was nice but we had to wait a while until someone came so we could order

16/04/2025: DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Unless you want to get yourself a type two diabetes for less than 15e, avoid this place! The amount of sugar in one dish could supply a whole family for a month. The texture of roasted duck resembled the texture of rubber bath duck. And Crispy Wonton tasted like chopped sponge soaked in fish water. The only thing that was actually decent was Chor Grilled Chicken Skewers in peanut sauce. Still way too much sugar, but surprisingly eatable.

24/12/2024: No dine in, only take away. Haven’t tried the food.

12/12/2024: Very poor Tandoori chicken. So bland and no flavour. The salad must have been weeks old in the fridge before being served.

31/03/2025: The food is usually nice and I come here alot and I would really recommend it, but today I've had a small issue with a tiny bit of mold on my burger bun, this isn't a full issue but I would appreciate it if I got get a voucher or something as compensation, please do not let this review change your mind on ordering the food it is well worth it and the food is unreal but I'm a bit disappointed, overall good food 👍

12/04/2025: Food is great , but the girl at the counter very rude . Not polite at all . Food restaurant should be about service and food not only food . Not coming back at all . If she’s no happy about working here , should put someone else .

31/12/2024: Waiting nearly 3hrs for a delivery ordered at 7pm it's now 10pm,rang twice n was told it will be 15-20mins each time I rang. Service is fair bad.

01/03/2025: We entered the Country Choice out of curiosity and ended up being so impressed by it's array of produce and homemade food that we stayed for lunch. The food tasted so good-was perfectly cooked and everything was fresh. The only downside is the prices aren't on display and it is overpriced even by today's crazy prices. If that doesn't bother you, id certainly recommend it.
