The best restaurants in Tipperary

21/06/2026: Excellent food, great portions, extremely reasonable prices. Also, the folks inside were so nice. Would definitely come back if the commute weren’t thousands of miles! (And may anyway)

20/06/2026: Very disappointed with our takeaway and, unfortunately, this isn’t the first time. We were told the order would be ready in 25 minutes, collected it after 20 minutes and were home within another 5 minutes, so there was no reason for the food to be cold. The aloo pakora, vegetable samosas, chicken chaat and garlic naan were stone cold – not even slightly warm. On a previous order, the butter chicken was also served cold, but I gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was a one-off. Sadly, it has happened again. A takeaway is a treat, and after paying good money you shouldn’t have to reheat freshly prepared food in the microwave before you can eat it. The food itself has good flavour, which makes it even more disappointing, but consistency and serving food at the correct temperature are basic expectations. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback on board because two cold takeaways in a row are simply not acceptable.

05/04/2026: Had Dinner on Easter Saturday family of 4 , found the staff very friendly, food was excellent and good value, allowed bring your own wine no corkage charge. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

22/12/2025: This place don't even deserve one star.it was the worse Chinese I ever had in my life.And I've 30 yrs experience eating them in different countries.I wouldn't even feed it to the dog

24/07/2026: Ordered a taco chip and a munchy box this evening. The munchy box was not great, very salty and the spring rolls tasted as though they were cooked from frozen. The reason I am writing this is becuase the taco chip was such a huge disappointment - it was chips, taco sauce and white grated cheese. A taco chip every other time I have ordered it anywhere else was taco mince, sauce and melted cheese. This is such fault advertising and if this is all it is, just remove it from the menu. Such a dissappointing dinner, at least the elderly gentleman that delivered was nice.

22/08/2026: Terrible service. Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered a specific dish and clearly explained every ingredient I wanted. They confirmed everything was available, but brought me a completely different dish. When I asked them to remake it, they told me I had to pay the full price again! Staff barely spoke English but were very confident that I had to pay twice. Absolutely ridiculous. Avoid this place. Meal is terrible. WORST PLACE EVER

25/08/2025: Just played golf. The course was in excellent condition and so manicured..... The staff in the club house bar/restaurant were friendly and helpful. Mary in the Pro Shop is a delight ... couldn't do enough for us .
