The best restaurants in Bunclody-carrickduff

12/03/2025: We were a family of six and were staying in the house next door to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday. We visited on our first evening, just for one as we had been up since 4am. This turned into several as the atmosphere was so nice, decor is lovely and very cosy feel. Lots of family games around such as snakes and ladders, connect4, draughts etc which were good fun. Arlo the owner was so nice, all of the staff were, so friendly and welcoming. My Dad was really keen to visit again the next night (his actual birthday) and as soon as we went in they wished him happy birthday, asked about his day and then Arlo insisted on not charging us for our last round. Unfortunately, the food truck wasn't starting up again until the week after we left so we didn't get to sample what sounds like great food. Would highly recommend you visit if you're in the area.

16/02/2025: this is the worst bad place I've ever been, the waiters are angry and rude and the food is not tasty.

11/03/2025: Hi there, we visited recently and had three sausage rolls and 3 teas. I'm just wondering why the sausage rolls arrived tepid and not hot. Pastry soggy. I didn't question your staff on this because tbh, you're in the food service industry and should know better. They were a nice flavour but the experience was not good because they were not cooked properly. And , over €30 for 3 sausage rolls and 3 teas....expensive I think. I also noticed a woman having soup near us, my god the portion of soup was small, could you spare it...seriously you need to do better.

10/02/2025: Kelly's is by far our favourite cafe in Wexford, but the dirt of the glasses and the sugar bowls leaves a lot to be desired.

04/03/2025: Had the pancakes with apple cinnamon, toffee sauce and nut topping , although it was delicious , a small few tweaks would elevate this dish , the apple cinnamon could be placed in a side dish, rather than served on top of pancakes as they became soggy as it took away the fluffy texture of the pancake ,the mixture of nuts on top were whole rather than in a brittle which would have been more practical , this is only my opinion.

05/01/2025: Best eggs Benedict I've ever had. Adding crispy bacon was genius. A bit messy but completely delicious.
