23/09/2025: One for the locals. Food seemed microwaved and service was very poor. Locals love it, no attention given to pesky tourists though. Pity, it's a lovely spot and the tunes were good!

18/10/2025: Rude owner bought some stuff from her shop the a few days ago i gave her €20 and when it came for her to give my change i held out my hand which she clearly saw and passed it by and dropped the money on the table lile i had a disease never again.

16/10/2025: We absolutely loved our visit to Ann McDonald’s Café & Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we could tell this was a special local spot. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of friendly faces — always a good sign when you see plenty of locals enjoying their meals. Everything is made fresh daily — Ann and her team even cook their own ham each morning. The traditional toastie with fresh baked ham and vegetable soup was simply perfect — flavorful, hearty, and comforting. You can truly taste the care and quality in every bite. We had the pleasure of meeting Ann McDonald herself, who personally brought our food to the table. She has owned and operated this restaurant for over 30 years, and it shows in every detail — her hospitality, pride, and the homey feel she’s created. She made our family feel completely at home, like we were visiting old friends. The location is also ideal — just a quick 5-minute walk from the Dunwoody Ship Experience, so it’s a perfect spot to stop for lunch before or after your visit. Ann’s restaurant is everything you hope to find when traveling — authentic, welcoming, and absolutely delicious. We could not recommend it more highly!

28/10/2025: Quite a good selection. Nice cafe upstairs. Some limits: they only have SAE 30; one generator they sell wants SAE 10W30 oil (found it at Ferns Engineering). Chainsaw files, yes; replacement chains, no. Good range of power tools.

12/10/2025: Great spot for all your DIY and paint needs, the garden centre is also great here. Cafe shop is great too. Plenty of parking outside and also has a delivery service too. Staff are great here and very knowledgeable. There are also very friendly and helpful. This is a one stop shop for all your needs. I would highly recommend 👌. Also have santa here during the Christmas period. Deffo worth dropping in. 5 stats all day.

22/10/2025: We used to go here very regularly but have been disappointed during our recent visits. Last time we ordered 2 mains and 1 side, tea for two and an orange juice. The table next to us arrived 10 mins after us and got their coffee quickly. We then got the side and one main, no beverages. It took another 15 mins for the second main to arrive by which the other food was pretty cold. Still no beverages, which we had to ask for again and only got the tea never the juice. It will be a while before we might give this place another go. The atmosphere is really lovely and we're sad to leave this review.

11/05/2025: We recently hosted our club's awards night in the newly renovated function area which has been beautifully refurbished. All the staff were so helpful, as always. The space is perfect for an event, with new lighting, speakers and disco lights added.

28/09/2025: Very very good kebab. Numero Uno w calej Irlandii. What would I change? 1. Wrap it in aluminium foil first than paper -no wet hands and soaked paper. 2. Spicy sauce should be more spicy. 3. Bigger portions.

17/09/2025: Great little place to visit for an absolutely fantastic takeaway Kabab meal, the food is hot, tender and plentyful, and great value for money, you won't be hungry afterwards, highly recommended

04/08/2025: Limited options for Vegetarians /Vegans compared to the menus in the Wexford & Enniscorthy restaurants, not sure why... The vegetarian options were excellent though, and they will make them GB / Indian spicy if you ask, the dishes on offer are quite mild compared to what you find in GB. The tastiest onion chutney I have ever has.

03/08/2025: Delicious Indian food in New Ross. We shared starters and got samosas, onion bajiis, and prawnsz they were all delicious. For mains we got biryani, butter chicken and lamb Rogan Josh, everything was packed with flavor and would highly recommend!

21/09/2024: We had a good breakfast after all day on the ferry to Rosslare, lovely staff, tasty dishes and drinks. Definetly not the cheapest, but I would go again!

27/08/2024: Had the cajun chicken today which was absolutely gorgeous. The fresh fruit and seeds were a lovely touch. Was on my own but sat up at a counter and ended up having a good chat with 2 strangers. Very enjoyable experience. Will return.
