27/08/2025: Arrived late in the day but had a nice welcome and looked after very well by the young lady managing the floor with a couple of other covers, and kitchen by the looks of it. Food was freshly cooked,tasty and there was no rush put on us. Many thanks.visited on 27 Aug 25.
15/07/2025: The staff were very friendly/ helpful and efficient. I asked for coffee to be served when the food landed, and that's exactly what happened .Very clean. Kid friendly. Cappuccino €3.70 .Club Sandwich €9

15/07/2025: I don't understand why they say the food will be ready in 20 minutes on the phone when ordering and when you go to collect you are waiting an additional 20 to 40 mins, especially when other customers for collection show up afterwards and get served quicker. also while waiting in there you can hear the other customers having a conversation saying that they have been waiting a long time and also saying that they have been waiting along time because they don't know them. Should it not be first come first served and not served on a personal level of knowing someone?
12/07/2025: A hot summer's day, and we needed a quick meal and a cold pint. Both were available in a clean and welcoming environment. Efficient staff and delicious food.

15/08/2025: Am not the type to post bad reviews, but by God it's probably the worst I have felt in many years, asking for an item that was gonna be reduced anyways to be reduced felt like I was planning to rob the item, rang the customer service for explanation only to hear the girl at the background making jest of my accent

07/08/2025: What a shame to see this place sink to this bottom of unprofessionalism in comparison to what it was years ago. Completely outdated and in serious need of a refurbishment or shut down. Staff clearly not trained in customer service with the usual 'are ya ok?' As opposed to a more professional greeting in attempt to actually serve' the customer. Nothing pisses me off more than that stupidity. I had enquired of ordering from a server who returned approx 10 to 15 minutes later. Since I did not see on the menu what I would like, when asked did I wish to order?' I polietly stated 'No thank you' to be responded with 'are ya ok?' Seriously?! Same happened upon my arrival to another server behind the bar.
I am 'ok' I have not' got two heads and would just have liked to be served. Ok!
Never again! Joe Germaine, your establishment has gone to &*^%e!

10/05/2025: Fish and chips was inedible - soggy, tasteless, too greasy and fish was not fresh. Chips was soggy as well. We threw out most of it. First and last time.

26/06/2025: I paid a visit to to this cafe while passing through the town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a toasted chicken and stuffing sandwich which arrived promptly and was delicious. I would highly recommend this cafe
