Emilia's
Enniskerry
08/12/2024: Best Bruschetta I've had outside of Italy. Phenomenal restaurant. Just what the wife and I needed for our weekend away
05/10/2024: Amazing food! I think I offended chef when I asked for butter and olive oil for the bread. Hard to take the Minnesota out of me! Ordered the egg plant as an appetizer and the carbonara for the main along with a bottle of Nero D’Avola from Sicilia! Yes, I know it should have been white but not a fan of Italian whites. Glorious dinner! Must go to!!!!

Lounge
Enniskerry
01/11/2024: Small pub, but super cozy. We sat at the little tables outside where we could calmly drink our pints.
The very friendly waiter suggested us a beer and, in my opinion, we are better than Guiness.
A good place to have a drink.
09/10/2024: Ok for a quick pint on a rainy day, the usual choice of beers

Poppies
Enniskerry
03/01/2025: Was there few days ago. Overpriced, rude staff. Not friendly atmosphere and poor quality food. I won't be back
27/12/2024: Very disappointed given the reputation. Microwaved quiche was rubbery, the pastry tasted as though made with margarine and under salted...cakes were good, though rather heavy.

The Enniskerry Inn
Enniskerry
07/12/2024: Perfectly done steak and great service!
09/11/2024: Sadly this place was very disappointing on the food. The menu misdescribed tortilla chips as being freshly made when they were out of a packet, the venison sausages weren't good, prawns very
basic and oily, and they charged €1 for mustard - first time we'd ever been charged for a condiment in all the restaurants we've been too over the last 40 years. We were told this is standard in Ireland when we know it certainly is not standard. Wouldn't recommend.

Kingfishers Kitchen
Enniskerry
28/12/2024: I don't review unless warranted or for severe bit of constructive criticism. It's a shame that such a historic village struggles to find a decent café with people who actually enjoy their job. Apart from that, seemed to be one serious-looking woman doing lots of work, and going back & forth - was wondering if it's a free-for-all, or if staff actually have different roles. Ultimately, bad impressions comes down to bad management. Other countries in Europe get a bad rap, but the service was passive aggressive, to put it gently!! I know the hospitality trade is struggling but people in the trade need to re-think what "Irish hospitality" is, or even "hospitality", because it's severely lacking in many establishments.
27/11/2024: I can’t say enough good things about Kingfisgers Kitchen. From the moment I first walked in, they welcomed me with warm, open arms, and this has been a consistent experience every Wednesday since. The staff’s genuine friendliness and attention to detail make every visit special.
The ambiance is cozy and inviting, a perfect setting to unwind midweek. Each dish is crafted with care and bursts with flavor, showcasing the chef’s passion for culinary excellence. Whether it’s the comforting classics or the delightful specials, the food never disappoints.
Thank you, for making every Wednesday something to look forward to.

The Pantry
Enniskerry
30/10/2023: We arrived soggy and cold this afternoon having run from Dundrum along the Wicklow Way. A big feed by a hot stove got us dried out and on our way again.
