I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Old Granary Restaurant in Wexford, and I can confidently say this place stands out as truly exceptional. From the very moment we walked in, we were greeted by the staff with a warmth and genuine smile that is rarely encountered these days. The welcoming atmosphere immediately set the tone for an outstanding dining experience. What truly distinguishes The Old Granary is the remarkable approach to customer service. The communication between the staff and guests is sincere, attentive, and effortlessly professional. It has been a long time since I have experienced such a high standard of hospitality, where every interaction reflects genuine care and dedication to guest satisfaction. As for the food, The Old Granary fully lives up to its glowing reputation. Every dish we tried was not only delicious and beautifully presented, but also generously portioned and reasonably priced. There was absolutely nothing to fault – the quality and value are second to none. Without a doubt, we will be returning many times in the future. The Old Granary Restaurant is the perfect choice for a family meal or a special gathering with friends. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who appreciates excellent cuisine and an unforgettable atmosphere.

I was having a bad day and my husband asked what would cheer me up, so I said;” A steak from the Old Granary.” Better and tastier than Prozac.

Excellent food. Great choice having ordered the specials (thanks to the gent waiter), both fish and rib were delicious! It’s a must visit again.

My partner and I went there on our weekend getaway. I had the table booked and the place seemed busy enough so I would recommend booking in advance. Staff was very friendly and food was really really good. Food was always on time and prices were very reasonable.

We went here on a recent visit to Wexford. The staff were great - friendly and engaging, really nice. The food however was hit and miss. My daughters steak was very nice, she enjoyed it. My special of the day which was fish was in a soup rather then a sauce, totally covered. Husbands risotto was hard and tasted precooked/reheated. We barely ate either of our dishes. Starters lovely and we ate them all. Food also came out very quickly, like was definitely not cooked to order. I think we were out of the place within an hour and that was with 2 courses for 3 people.

We had visited this venue a few years ago when it was 10 bistro and often reminisced about the great food we had. It was my husband’s birthday tonight so we made the trip to Wexford. We both really enjoyed the starters - tempura prawns and lamb koftas. My husband had the beef rib for main which he loved, however I had the pork belly and honestly it wasn’t great. It tasted like it had sat under a lamp for a few hours and the roast potatoes that’s came with it were inedible- they tasted microwaved/ the pork crackling was rubbery. So disappointing as it wasn’t a cheap night out, hopefully it was just a bad night but honestly it’s not what I expected- I’m surprised the waiters served it as it was visibly unsavoury looking…
