10 West Bistro Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge in Wexford

We went here on a recent visit to Wexford. The staff were great - friendly and engaging, really nice. The food however was hit and miss. My daughters steak was very nice, she enjoyed it. My special of the day which was fish was in a soup rather then a sauce, totally covered. Husbands risotto was hard and tasted precooked/reheated. We barely ate either of our dishes. Starters lovely and we ate them all. Food also came out very quickly, like was definitely not cooked to order. I think we were out of the place within an hour and that was with 2 courses for 3 people.

We had visited this venue a few years ago when it was 10 bistro and often reminisced about the great food we had. It was my husband’s birthday tonight so we made the trip to Wexford. We both really enjoyed the starters - tempura prawns and lamb koftas. My husband had the beef rib for main which he loved, however I had the pork belly and honestly it wasn’t great. It tasted like it had sat under a lamp for a few hours and the roast potatoes that’s came with it were inedible- they tasted microwaved/ the pork crackling was rubbery. So disappointing as it wasn’t a cheap night out, hopefully it was just a bad night but honestly it’s not what I expected- I’m surprised the waiters served it as it was visibly unsavoury looking…

The food was absolutely beautiful. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection. My husband had the tagliatelle which was also lovely. It was very quiet in there as it was 6pm on a Sunday so we had the place to ourselves. We will be back Thank you.

The food was excellent and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. We would recommend the burrata dish was our favorite as well as the pork belly. For dessert we chose the pistachio dish and it was very good.

A lovely evening at The Old Granary, a treat for my Mam for Mothers Day. John Paul looked after us very well. The food was delicious & the service was top notch 👌

Food is excellent, possibly the best steak sandwich I have ever had. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

We dined here recently for our staff night out and food and service was exceptional! All 7 of us were highly impressed with the quality,taste and presentation of food and service. We had a few drinks downstairs in the cocktail bar afterwards and it was cosy and comfortable with reasonably priced drinks. Cocktails were delicious also,we will definitely be back

Lovely food and nice pre Christmas atmosphere but there is a man who serves there who is over familiar and a bit inappropriate in his comments. While he is good at waiting he needs to be mindful of his smart comments. Overall a nice experience
