Dined twice in the Pergola this weekend. Surroundings were lovely, service was really friendly and the food was great. As a bonus, they were very nice to our dog! Would recommend.
Went there with a friend about a month ago. We started the evening with gorgeous cocktails then had the Vegan sharing board. I'm still drooling over the bang bang cauliflower.
We asked about Vegan wine and they checked and brought us a choice of vegan labelled wine. The wine we chose was one of their most expensive but it was Delicious!
I am taking one star away because they sadly don't have a vegan dessert. I mentioned this on a previous visit so am disappointed. Their kitchen staff are obviously talented enough to produce something Vegan friendly.
We sat in the beautiful pergola section which is dog friendly.
The staff were lovely, attentive and friendly.
We went mid week when it wasn't very busy and staff were happy to let us sit and relax and no suggestion of trying to get us to eat and go as you do in some other establishments .
Thank you for accomodating 12 people at short notice for our midsummer gathering. We all had a wonderful evening and were really impressed with the food and service. We thank you for making our evening so enjoyable and will definately be returning again very soon.
Arrived on a busy Friday evening with no booking - wasn’t a problem. Sat outside and watched Dungarvan go buy with great pizza, delicious drinks and lovely service 😍
Amazing Vegan food.
My partner had the red lentil dhal ...I had the spicy mushroom taco and bang bang cauliflower.... seriously fresh and every bite was delicious
Definitely will be back
We had dinner after seeing the reviews. Overall a good experience pleasant staff, good service and nice food. Despite the place being busy with first holy communion party’s they managed quite well. One small thing to point out was how the Hereford steak was served presentation was poor everything seemed to be just piled on the plate. But the meat was cooked perfectly as ordered so only a small observation.
16/06/2025: Our first pub stop at the start of our tour of The Wild Atlantic Way.
Very friendly welcome from the staff and customers.
They made a huge fuss of our Border Collie, Annie and made a great start to our holiday (not many dog friendly pubs found since)!
Now on the 8th day of our 4 week tour and so far they served the best pint of Guinness I've had so far (the only o e I'd say that was better than in England).
So thank you for your hospitality.
We hope to find more pubs like yours over the next 3 weeks.
Malc, Carrie & Annie.
