This was my third visit so now is the time to review. Reason for this approach is to be truly able to evaluate consistency. Food quality and quantity, A+. Atmosphere, excellent. Service, very good but could be improved upon a little. I say this because there was a significant delay between the time we finished our main course and were approached by staff to see if we wanted desert or drinks. In fact we needed to get the attention of a passing staff member. There is a fine line between harassing customers and being attentive to their needs. I am certain this fine establishment will sort that issue. The fish and chips are absolutely super. My partner had a vegetarian pasta dish and was extremely pleased. Desert menu is fantastic. Despite the minor service issue I will certainly return to the 360 Cookhouse and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a very enjoyable dining experience. You will not be disappointed.
I arrived in my Campervan with my 2 rescued dogs for the 1st time in Dungarvan on Friday 8th Aug(my 21st birthday plus at least 100% vat) & arrived at 360 Cookhouse for 1st time around 4pm & had the most amazing welcome by the staff(2 dogs & their pram). I had the Beef Featherblade & Pavlova. Beef was perfect as i am in process of getting implants on teeth. The beef was so soft. Major dog friendly in the Conservatory at back of restaurant(fabulous place to sit) with your 4 leggeds.
Many many thanks for your hospitality Staff & Chefs🏆. From a retired hospital Receptionist of 37 yrs👏👏.
Superb, by far the best restaurant we found during our short stay in Dungarvan. If you eat meat, the featherblade steak is sensational. Every mouthful was a delight, tinged with disappointment that you're now a mouthful closer to the end. The tapas we had on our second visit was up there, too. If you're booking for a small group (4-5), ask for one of the circular banquettes.
Really great spot, wide variety of dishes creative cocktails and desserts. Staff are amazing. Would be 5 stars except the piece of fish they served me was tiny, completely lost on a huge plate. Still, would happily go back amd try something else
We had dinner after seeing the reviews. Overall a good experience pleasant staff, good service and nice food. Despite the place being busy with first holy communion party’s they managed quite well. One small thing to point out was how the Hereford steak was served presentation was poor everything seemed to be just piled on the plate. But the meat was cooked perfectly as ordered so only a small observation.
20/08/2025: Busy bar established in 1825 and still going strong 200 years later. .Beer ,Stout, Ales wine and spirits available, plenty of outdoor seating with excellent harbour views.
15/08/2025: Nice bar in the centre of Dungarvan, called in and was greeted by a young lad called Robbie (I think) he was very friendly and good fun, a real asset to the bar.
