777 in Dublin

Very expensive for what it is, and service not great. We got tortilla chips to start, the chips themselves looked like they came from a bag from the supermarket, and the guacamole was quite bland. The other salsas were very nice though. We got tacos to share for the main which were very nice, but only 2 for €15 which is very expensive for what it is. We asked could we get one plate with 2 different tacos that were the same price on the menu but were told we couldn’t mix and match which seems unreasonable considering how much we paid. When the bill came they had added a 12.5% service charge even though we were only a group of 3 and the menu said service only included for groups of 4+

Always enjoy a meal in 777. Definitely recommend. It is an occasional treat for us when you factor in the price of drinks. They do have specials on different days of the week so keep an eye on their socials.

Great tacos: best items were tuna sashimi tacos and super fresh and sweet oysters! Go also for the classic margaritas!

This has got to be the best Margarita in Ireland. I'm a Chica from Texas so I was sceptical of Mexican food in Dublin. Holy guacamole was I surprised how good the food was! I highly recommend for a taste of Texi-Cali-Mex.

Cocktails are nice But we didnt like tacos especially prawn one

Good, tasty Mexican food, albeit in a bit of a noisy atmosphere (we were there early in the dinner service but struggled to hear each other). The pig’s head sharing platter was the highlight, delicious food with great extras like corn, pickled red onions, and patatas bravas. Slightly strange we couldn’t book online, but had to have the table free in an hour for a group that had booked…

It's always good music in the evening! I come here for cocktails, great cocktails, tried food, also very tasty! I have one comment, I wanted to come in the afternoon and sit down at the table, all the tables were free, only one was busy, but girl was told that if I don't order food - I'll sit at the bar (there was me and a friend), so I didn't want to sit at the bar and left: I would spend more money on cocktails than for one dish, think a little about it

We were really looking forward to trying the food, but did not stay long enough to do so which is why I gave it five stars. It’s OK if you’re not trying to talk to the person next to you. You could not hear the words coming out of your mouth much less talk to the person next to you. It looks like a great place with great food so definitely give it a try if that is your vibe.
