Best Chinese takeaway in a long time! Friendly, helpful staff, asked about allergies. The starter for 2 was delicious, the ‘spice box’ amazing and the main course fantastic! Large portions throughout, would highly recommend!

Best spice bag in Ireland, they actually put spices in it. Food is amazing and also cheaper and larger portions than other places in Kilrush. Best takeaway I have ever been to and I've lived in 3 different countries.

Johnson's Bar

27/10/2024: Great wee pub, great craic with the locals, great pints! (Having two dogs in the bar is always a good conversation opener.) The job of a landlady isn’t always easy but she seems to keep a good house. A very enjoyable few hours.

01/02/2025: lovely bar restaurant in kilrush Town prompt service lovely coffee and the nicest apple pie I've eaten in quite a while toilets spotlessly clean although the gents hand dryer badly needs replacing or painting very rusty
