Don't be put off by the exterior. The food is very good and reasonably priced.

Picked up a fabulous meal on way from Kilimer to Kilkee. I wanted a vegetarian meal that was not on the menu and it was no problem. Family all happy, great helping and very tasty. We'll be back

Johnson's Bar

29/09/2026: Great bar, bartender, and beer. We're visiting from the US and felt very comfortable at a classic Irish pub.
05/09/2026: Very welcoming. Nice little bar with a nice creamy pint of Guinness

The Potter's Hand Cafe

15/01/2026: Nice coffee. The staff were kind and it was a cozy interior. Didn’t try and food but it looked good. Will note they closed at 3pm rather than 4pm as listed on google.
