Fantastic wedding here all round

We had an amazing experience hosting our wedding at the Abbey hotel on NYE. The venue was beautiful, Lisa & all of the staff were professional and attentive, and everything ran seamlessly. Our guests loved the food and service, and the day exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommended for weddings and special events. Thank you Lisa for all of your hard work that our job so easy.

Very friendly service at the reception and bar. Clean. Unfortunately, the photos of the hotel differ slightly from reality. A bit disappointing. We couldn't go to the restaurant because it was fully booked at around 3 p.m. We used the bar; the service was excellent and the food was good. Only the appetizers were overpriced considering the quantity and quality. I think a 4-star hotel should provide guests with bottled water in the room. There should also be a notice that tap water can be used after boiling, as the bathroom states that tap water is not for drinking. A hairdryer would be useful. I also missed a nice view from the window.

The rooms were outdated, the service overall was average and the location is not great. There’s very little in Roscommon for food, drinks and shopping.

Wow... what a great hotel! Fabulous staff, warm welcome, very comfortable bar and restaurant, great food, wonderful accessible wheelchair friendly bedroom... they've thought of everything! Well worth a visit. Highly recommended.
