Hi just to say we celebrated a 50th Birthday in the Abbey at the weekend- the third family celebration there in 2024 - everything from getting us all booked in and reservations to the food and service in the Market Restaurant, to the entertainment in the front bar and breakfast the next morning - first class- we were “cared like eggs”🤣

Stayed here a few weeks back for bank hotel weekend. 1st time staying but wasn't 1st time being in the hotel. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Hotel itself up to high standards and very clean. Only down fall with our stay was the lift out of service other than that we will be back again x

Little Mac's Chipper

09/08/2024: Well we thought we would try here just for a bag of chips with plenty of salt and vinegar. It did not disappoint. I can only assume beef dripping was used to fry the chips. They tasted lovely. The staff were polite and engaging. And the service was excellent. The price was surprisingly cheaper than most. Keep the pans on little mac's we will be back for sure. Mmmmmmmmmm

24/09/2024: Lovely place to escape from a Donegal shower, good range of options for us fussy gluten free vegetarians and of course Dog friendly. See you soon
26/08/2024: Excellent cafe..if you need a good portion of good scran then this is the place...Full all day breakfast was the best I've had in Ireland and my partner had a Shepherds pie to die for..mega sized all at a very fair price..would recommend. Dog friendly covered courtyard...
