Great hotel. Friendly staff. The boardwalk is great to have situated at the back of the hotel. The room was comfy and warm. The shower however was always luke warm and would turn colder and hotter which wasn't pleasant. We stayed 3 nights so it was an ongoing issue which made having a shower something to avoid. The toiletries in the room were absolutely gorgeous. Overall we would recommend the hotel as it met our expectations.

Stopped here for food on my way from Dublin to Cork.
Premium Priced food for below average produce.
Wouldn’t recommend.

As always (and after a decade), Google finds it impossible to cope with places that have different activities. This hotel has an excellent restaurant and Pollys, a great cafe at the far end of the building. Wonderful coffees, pastries, toasties and pizzas. A useful pitstop on longer journeys and also for before or after visiting the adjacent Abbeyleix Bog.

We stayed here for a girls weekend it was so fab. Great value the girls in reception were so lovely and friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The bar staff were fantastic also ... loads of beautiful seating outside and also the breakfast the next morning the ladies were so friendly and chatty. We will definitely be back.

Very clean, well maintained but rooms not sound proof enough. We could hear conversation in the next room.
A night spent on the road going south from Dublin: a nice hotel, the rooms are a little dated but practical and large. Free parking in front of the hotel.
Great full Irish breakfast.
Restaurant in the hotel very good too.
In summary a good hotel but which deserves a renovation.
