Activate Waterford in Waterford

Activate was the absolute highlight of our holidays. We found it online while searching for fun things to do in Waterford with 3 boys aged 9,10 and 13. We decided to book online and visit. From the moment we arrived the staff were accommodating and friendly. Jack thought our 3 boys how to do the climbing wall and was fantastic with them. The boulder climbing was lots of fun and he had great patience with them. We then used the physical gaming zone again the man explaining what to do was fun and was great getting them to listen and engage. It was great fun and something we could all do. We returned the next day for the bowling another great hit. ACTIVATE is trendy colourful new and really fun. I would highly recommend it and the good coffee was a real bonus. It is excellent value for money and a must if you are looking for some fun with kids.

Great place but some kids undisciplined can ruin the atmosphere. Go in ready for the worst so you are not disappointed 😀

Bowling en the interactive floor games were loads of fun. Nice way to get the kids active while satisfying their gaming addiction 😂.

Went in for bowling with two kids, the bowling was decent, nice to control it fully from the lane and not need to go to the counter for changing details or setting the bumpers etc. Booked into the climbing wall last minute because it looked quiet enough, wall configuration had changed since last time we were here so it's nice to see that it was updated. The member of staff helping with the wall (Ben I think) was fantastic with encouraging the kids and reading their ability to know when to move up the challenge level a bit or when to let them take the easier route.
