A quick lunch with a mate ended up 5 hours long as we were so comfortable, the seafood Chowder was delicious and the coffees , superb, this Hotel is stunning with the best views of the lake, the team are all brilliant .

We had afternoon tea here, beautifully displayed and serviced, lovely back story to each layer, staff extremely attentive and friendly. Lovely experience, would definitely recommend

5 star really sums it up. Staff were amazing, as are the rooms and facilities. Will definitely be back!

We recently stayed at Aghadoe Heights and while there were some highlights, the experience fell far short of five-star expectations. The location is beautiful, and we greatly appreciated the upgrade to a suite, which was very comfortable. The welcome on arrival was also warm and professional. This start had made a great first impression. Unfortunately, several elements were disappointing. The spa and pool areas are poorly laid out, located far apart, and the thermal room was cold in places. The pool area felt dated and was accessed via a spiral staircase, which was inconvenient. We were also surprised to see visible rust in the jacuzzi, which is unacceptable for a luxury spa. The bar experience was underwhelming. The atmosphere was dull and prices were high. A pint of Moretti was completely flat and undrinkable and had to be returned, with no apology or reassurance that the keg would be changed was offered, the bartender simply went back to watching the soccer on TV. A Spicy Margarita was served in a cheap glass with no presentation, which felt very below standard. We were not informed about the shuttle/concierge service to Killarney, leading to confusion after we had already ordered a taxi. Breakfast was chaotic, with poor communication between staff. Toast arrived cold and alongside drinks, and the breakfast itself was served about 20 minutes later and arrived lukewarm, with a hash brown cold in the middle. The duty manager apologise for this and did refund the breakfast, which we appreciated. While the room upgrade and refund were welcome gestures, overall this was not the five-star experience we expected.

A fantastic hotel with a fantastic location in a park with a lake view. Super friendly staff and delicious food.

Room service was so-so. Breakfast was exceptional. Honey produced by bees onsite was the best ever tasted. The young man working Concierge was excellent. Service by Erica and Cloughda was superb and very responsive.

Problem with a concierge not following through with taking us to the train station for our trip to Dublin. It was terrible and stressful as we needed to get on that train. Concierge finally made contact with front desk staff after we had been waiting for 20 minutes for him and he said he was right on the road near the hotel to get us and that there was traffic. Another staff member finally said he would take us in his private car. There was absolutely NO traffic where the concierge told the staff he was stuck in traffic and he was certainly NOT on the road near the hotel as he had told the front desk woman. We got to the station exactly one minute before the train left. It was absurd since we scheduled the ride the night before. Very stressful. I wrote to the GM of the hotel about this to let him know and I never got a response from him.

Wow, big rooms, and great dining. Super nice facility and pool, gym and spa. Friendly staff.
