Al Fresco in Malahide

Not sure why this place only has 4.4 stars but it was amazing Italian food. I haven't had good Italian food since my last vacation to Italy. This place was authentic in flavor and portion.

Amazing food! The service was even better! My new favourite spot for food!

A charming cozy restaurant with the most friendly staff in all malahide. We were just passing bh looking inside and they invited us in, no reservations needed for a saturday night, what a delight. You can’t go wrong with any of their dishes, we had the special burrata, crab ravioli and lasagna. Everything tastes like your nonna made it with a contemporary cuisine twist Only note I would leave is that the cocktails could be a little stronger

Super accommodating, we had a party of 6 plus a 1.5 year old, and despite the tight space they fit us in around 8:30 pm. They sat us inside at a smaller table inside while a bigger table opened up. The staff was so nice and attentive. Food was delicious, drinks were flowing. It was an awesome find! 10 out of 10 recommend.

Very tasty food and friendly staff!

Very accommodating for my wife’s needs as she doesn’t want to eat certain things during pregnancy and really helpful with my young son and getting his food ready first etc…. Price was very reasonable food was very very good. Hapoy and will be back.

A delightful Italian welcome from a lovely gentleman (the owner?) even though we hadn't booked. We were given a quiet table for 2 in a lovely cosy room. Starters and mains were both delicious - and really decent sized portions. Wine was crisp and chilled to perfection. The staff were attentive, without being overwhelming. My only downside was not having time to stay for a dessert as we were heading to a function nearby. A truly authentic experience. I'd happily go if I was visiting Malahide again.

Excellent experience from start to finish and the food is devine. We arrived on a busy Friday evening without a booking but they were happy to squeeze us in. We were made to feel so welcome when I talked about wine the manager found wine off the menu that is my favourite. We then shared a starter of focaccia which was delicious. I had the ravioli and prawn for main and my husband had chicken. The pesto is fantastic and I loved the whole dish. We were so well looked after by all of the team a busy thriving place, BEST Italian food we have had out in as long as I can remember
