Great bar for live music and sport. Traditional bar with real character and a warming fire. Dennis and Donnacha are genuinely friendly as are the locals.

Best pub by a country mile that I have frequented.Denis and Joy have such a fabulous group of staff that contribute to an amazing atmosphere in this unique pub.Amazing musical talent regularly there.

Jumbo Malaysian Restaurant

13/03/2024: Most delicious food (especially fiery sambal), spacious restaurant, very friendly and attentive staff. This is by far the very best restaurant in Mallow. I highly recommend it - Try it and you will be absolutely amazed. They're also on FB with pictures of the consistent effort they make for event days, be it Christmas, Mother's day etc. I have not experienced this effort and attentiveness anywhere else in Co. Cork. Thank you M., A. and ฝน 🤭
06/03/2024: We went here for dinner (dine in) a few times. Staff were warm and attentive and place was clean. Food was tasty and was served in good time. We were facilitated by what we didn't eat being wrapped for take home. Atmosphere was somewhat lacking due to only small numbers dining in. This was a pity as the place deserved to be full. Jumbo offers a very good full take away service also. Portions are generous. So give this place a try. It's worth it.
