Probably the best pub in Mallow just sometimes the music might be a little too loud.

Globe Cafe Mallow

25/08/2026: Ome of those lucky random stops on a long journey. We received a wonderful welcome from a chap who was not Irish but clearly part of the community. Lunch time good choice was 1st class especially the Quiche's. Recommend this place.

The Gallery

04/10/2026: Good food, but prices have increased a lot since I first went here over 2 years ago. We stopped going here as we now eat out in Cork which has comparable, and sometimes lower prices than here. No complaints about service at the Gallery as that's always been good. On our last visit about 8 or 9 months ago we had a problem with a drink that just didn't taste right. But they sorted it out straight away. We might go back here again. But it isn't great value fir money at the moment.
20/09/2026: Really nice ambient and attention, the food was not really good, my Cesar salad was really salted and plenty of sauce, excessive.
