Alisan Oriental Restaurant in Claremorris

Very nice food for takeaway and eat in. Good value. I would avoid the spring rolls, the last 2 times I bought them they were off and tasted awful.

We absolutely loved this place. The food and the restaurant were fantastic. The only thing I would work on is the service. The girls seem a little disengaged and inattentive. BUT the food was great and the atmosphere created is really a surprise with how nice it is inside. We will be regulars here for sure. We are moving to just 15 minutes away.

Always enjoy eating in Alisan, good prices with lovely food and a nice atmosphere. Lovely staff also.

The food is tasty but a little overpriced for what you actually get. I had the Duck hotpot and it was tasty but I feel it was a a couple of euro too expensive than it should have been. Mostly chicken and pork (I think) and not much duck. Seating is comfortable and the staff are friendly and that is always a big plus. So to summarise, I do like the place but believe €60+ for two mains and a kids meal is a bit steep for the quality of the food served.

We stumbled upon this place when in the area. We got parking on the street right outside. The restaurant is upstairs. The evening we were there, the restaurant was quiet, and we got a table with no hassle. They were very busy with takeaways. There is a large menu and a kids menu. All the food came out quickly, fresh and hot. We all enjoyed what we had, and everything was so tasty. I will go back again when in the area as there are more dishes I'd like to try. Very enjoyable experience.

On holiday and this place was recommended to us, but having read trip advisor reviews we were apprehensive. We needn't have been. Had a lovely meal, lots of starters, great varied menu, and generous portions. We had the platter to start, chicken and sweetcorn soup, Peking Ribs, Thai red curry, Satay Chicken and sweet snd sour chicken. 😋 Definitely worth the visit for us. Price was reasonable too. Service pleasant and efficient. Would definitely visit again
