This is a relatively small Portuguese restaurant specializing in seafood. There is a husband and wife team who own the restaurant and handle most of the cooking and serving. The food is inspired by Goa in India and the food has complex and delicious flavours.

Amazing food! My family and I discovered this restaurant while visiting Galway, and we were pleasantly surprised by how excellent everything was. Every meal was perfectly cooked, warm, and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Absolutely worth every penny — we can’t wait to come back to Galway just to eat here again!

At first, we wanted to go somewhere else, but there was a huge line, and we'd already seen Alma before. So, the decision was made. It was the best! We got a high chair for our daughter and much more. The starter was great and the main course was fantastic. The dessert was the crowning glory! I highly recommend it to everyone – go there!

Very relaxed atmosphere, delicious food, and a delicious portuguese wine, recommended by the very friendly waitress. Very good price for the quality. We shared appetizer, cod and beef. For dessert we had a trio of brigadeiro. We were very happy. Irecommend it

Really delicious food! The presentation was very nice and everything we tried was excellent. According to the website, the menu changes often, so you might not find exactly what we had but based on our experience, it all seems very legit and absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!
