If I could give this place 10 stars I would. My husband and I are in Galway for a few days and needed a break from fish and chips, and I found this place on Google Maps and we went on a whim. We both had house red wine and we shared the pork belly main, the goat cheese app, and the sausage app. My husband ordered Amarguinha (Portuguese almond liqueur) to cap it all off and OMG EVERYTHING WAS INCREDIBLE. I don’t know if I have ever had a better meal. This place deserves a Michelin star. It’s a small, family-run place, and the owner took our order and made our food. EAT HERE. Don’t hesitate. Quick - before it’s on all the guide books and you can’t get in! You won’t regret it. Support this family-run restaurant.

A lovely Portuguese couple is running this unpretentious but delicious restaurant, the food is excellent. I love the cod dish, never had cod so fresh and delicious! Must try.

This is a MUST when visiting Galway. You’ll get your fill of stew and fish n’ chips other nights you’re here. You’ll be blown away the flavors, textures and aromas this place conjures. Seriously, it’s only two people, wife/husband, who run this restaurant and it’s phenomenal! We really lucked out when finding this place. We ordered the pork, goat cheese and Brazilian sausage, house red and finished up with Amarguinha (Portuguese almond liquor). Hands down the best meal I’ve had in a long time, maybe years. The owners were so friendly and cute, very happy and hospitable.
