We will definitely come back! The restaurant has simple yet tasteful decor and a relaxed ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The food was excellent—we tried the pork belly and lamb, and both dishes were equally delicious and generously portioned. The highlight of our visit was the warm and friendly service. The "waitress/owner" was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always smiling, adding a personal touch to our experience. Highly recommended!

Came here with my wife and had a lovely evening. It is a little hidden gem in Galway city, with authentic food and a lovely wine selection. The hosts are amazing, with top class service. Suggestions were given, and the food that came was really good. Would definitely recommend this to anyone in the city, it is a unique experience and we will be back. Thanks guys!

Starting with no 5 star: the clam dose could be more generous, could have more options for glass of wine. Other than that food was amazing, good portions, very very tasty. Had the lamb and it was SO tender. Went with my wife and we really enjoyed it

Wonderful! The food was delicious. I had the Vapatá, and I wanted to lick the bowl. We split the goat cheese appetizer and it was also incredible. Highly recommend!!

A hidden gem. Tried this out for some portuguese food and it exceeded my expectations. Really flavoursome, home cooked food- it's not often these days that you can get that depth of flavour in a restaurant. It's a small place, but didn't feel cramped- although it deserves to be busier. Not a corner of the city you associate with restaurants but don't let that put you off. Family run, warm and friendly service. So lovely, try it out! Muito bom!

Small restaurant with a few tables in an area far from the historic center of Galway (which however can be reached on foot from the restaurant in 10 minutes). The restaurant offers Portuguese cuisine: dishes prepared with attention and seriousness, the flavor is good. My wife and I didn't drink wine but we saw some nice bottles.

Murphy's Ice Cream

30/11/2024: Murphy’s Ice Cream in Galway definitely has a special reputation, but my visit only partially convinced me. I chose the small size waffle for €6, with the varieties peanut butter and Irish cream (with alcohol, similar to Baileys). However, the portion was really very small - the ice cream was eaten in about two minutes. The medium size costs €7.50 and the large costs around €9. For me, the taste of the ice cream wasn't anything special, perhaps because I'm used to the often cheaper but very high quality Italian ice cream in Germany. My wife ordered a hot chocolate with 70% dark chocolate for €4.50 and was very satisfied. The drink was really intensely chocolaty and a real recommendation for chocolate lovers. The shop itself hardly offers any seating, which is a shame because you would like to enjoy the ice cream or cocoa in peace. A big plus, however, is the friendly staff who gave us a warm welcome. It is also possible to try varieties before deciding, which is a nice service. Overall, Murphy's Ice Cream is okay, but the small portions and the comparatively high price don't quite justify the quality of the ice cream in my opinion. While the ambience and the cocoa score points, the ice cream remains rather average for me. Therefore I give it 3 out of 5 stars.
30/11/2024: Most kind and attentive staff selling delicious selection of ice-cream. And it's made of real milk, the first thing you get when stepping in is a dairy factory smell, that only someone whose family owned a dairy farm remember... Anyway, back into the room. The lovely lady with body piercing offer us one ice-cream for free when she heard one of us was celebrating a big birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉. So kind
