Ambledown Cottage in Glasslough

The real rating would be 3.5 stars. The experience was only let down by a persistent fly in the little room we were in, a rather gloomy member of staff that served us (but hey, we all have bad days), but most importantly, the food. The pizza was nice and I especially like how they don't skimp on the toppings or extra parm, but the base was soggy and tasted just like asdas cheapest pizzas. I don't think it was worth the price. In summary; a lovely place but the pizza base really needs to improve

Class place ,so so cool , I'd happily travel from donegal to go here again , beautiful place ,excellent and brilliant service and pizza's were beautiful, thank you so much for the class experience

Was here for a family party, food was lovely and the atmosphere was great, staff very pleasant and accommodating to our requests 🙂

Such a cute spot for a lunch, and it’s byob! Amazing sourdough pizza and super great, friendly service. Lovely gardens and cozy greenhouse area to sit in.
