Best pizza ever in a cosy cottage, all nicely decorated. Theres no parking, everyone park the car nearby on the street, just be sure not to block or park too irregularly because the street is a 2 way narrow street.

The cutest little restaurant with the most colorful setup. Vintage items, flowers and cute tables and chairs at every corner. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered a 9 inch garlic shroom pizza, 9 inch ham and pineapple pizza, 12 inch chicken pizza, two portions of fries, 2 soft drinks and one tea pot. Pizzas were very delicious and the crust was nice and crispy. Bill came around 70 euros for the 4 adults and 1 toddler. We enjoyed the meal so much, definitely a spot worth trying!

My husband and I hosted our wedding guests for an afternoon meal at Ambeldown Cottage the day after our wedding at Castle Leslie. It was the perfect space for our group of 60-70 and the perfect way to unwind from and recap the wedding with our guests. The food and service was top-notch. We absolutely love Ambeldown Cottage and will certainly be back!

Ambledown Cottage is a lovely and quirky little pizza restaurant. We all loved our choice of pizza. Service and staff were very good. Our dog was accommodated on the condition that we dined out in the courtyard. It was a beautiful day so this wasn’t a problem. I can imagine during busy times parking could be a little tricky. And I don’t think 🍷or 🍻 is licenced to be sold on the premises, but bring your own bottle is accepted. Enjoy 🍕

Food was nice but had to wait for ages on it + 1 pizza came out late but they ended up giving it for free as the rest of us were finished by the time the last person's came out

Pocono Glaslough

27/10/2024: I drop into Pocono every 2/3 weeks on a regular trip from Donegal to Dublin with my daughter for a coffee and a sandwich and i must say that the sandwiches are top notch. ( made with McCloskey bread) The staff are very friendly and attentive and always have a smile. Glaslough is a peaceful detour on my journey and i get to enjoy a nice coffee and grub while passing through. Neville & Clodagh

The entire staff is warm, attentive, and highly knowledgeable, which really elevates the dining experience. Special mention goes to Daniel, who went above and beyond for us last night. Since we don’t eat red meat or pork, he carefully checked every detail of the menu, even down to the bread and butter, to ensure everything met our preferences. His dedication and attention to detail were so appreciated. The team at Snaffles is a real credit to Castle Leslie, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for a memorable evening!
