Just not for me, didnt expect pizza bases pre bought, not homemade, considering its main menu item. Atmosphere & service was great do.

We have just left Ambledown cottage just now and must say we came across this place by accident after a week in Donegal on our way back to Wicklow, beautiful setting great pizza and the staff were the best, cannot say enough about this s place and staff.

Wonderful pizza place. Just fantastic. So warm. So welcoming. Wonderful pizza and brilliant for coeliacs too. Would not skip this place if you like pizza.

It was my daughters 17th birthday and Ambledown Cottage made it so special. The waiters were excellent and friendly even though it was raining. Thank you so much you will see us definitely soon. Regards Ludeke/Vorsters

02/04/2024: Great place. Just when you ring make sure the bar section open . We went for lunch but was directed to wrong area could not find anyone to ask so we left
26/03/2024: Simply excellent! We had three lovely nights in a superb room in the lodge. Gorgeous walks, tours of the gardens and a fascinating tour of the castle. The food is excellent in both Raffles and the bar and the service throughout is five star.
