Amethyst Bar in Keel-dooagh

20/07/2025: The westernmost bar in Europe whose clock runs backwards. Friendly and efficient staff. We only drank there, hence the lack of reviews on the food.

16/07/2025: Though a dining room was nearly empty at 630 pm on a Saturday night, we were shuttled to the back bar where at a table for two one person had to sit on a low stool with the other in chair of normal height. Back bar was filled with loud and very rowdy lads, not an issue if you're just there for a pint but not a relaxing dinner experience. Service indifferent and food average. Maybe just a bad night.
