Amethyst Bar in Keel-dooagh

Lovely food and a lovely atmosphere. In beautiful keel it’s great to have such a great food option. Pints great too.

The food was good. It was not as good as I expected. The vegan beetroot burger was not to my liking, but others might like it The beef burgers were just ok, too

Had a lovely meal in the Amethyst. I have an intolerance to onions so asked if I could have the Vegetarian meal without onions & they were happy to accommodate me. My husband had the hake dish & said it was delicious. We were so disappointed to hear that the restaurant was closing for the Winter months, as we were looking forward to going there again. Such a shame it doesn't stay open as it was packed!!

Despite heavy traffic, service was quick and hassle-free. We ordered several dishes from the menu, both fish and meat. Everything was delicious. We recommend

A lovely atmosphere and great food. The staff are pleasant. I would recommend to locals and visitors. Parking at rear.

The food was very good, but everything else worse. We were there with our family, we waited quite a long time before they accepted us. The restaurant was about half full and we probably hit the day when part-timers served. There were about 5 people serving there, so I would have expected a faster pace. After finishing our meal, no one stopped by for 10 minutes, so we left instead. I recommend finding employees who enjoy this job

Fabulous pub/restaurant. Food was top notch and cooked beautifully. Very reasonably priced. We went twice on very busy days and service was prompt! Highly recommend and would love to go back!
