I have a great stay at this hotel, the room was nice and spacious, the bed was nice and comfortable, as well the stuff was very nice and friendly, as well the food at the restaurant/bar is tasty and delicious, good value for money, definitely recommend this place.

The hotel is set in a stunning landscape and looks beautiful. Everyone wondering where to stay in this part of the islands should definitely choose this place. I’ve seen a lot of hotels, but this one is in a truly unique location, with very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Great stay at An Grianán Hotel. We booked for a functional family stay to enjoy the Halloween festival in nearby Derry City. Hotel is well located and very well kept. The architectural joinery is top notch. The rooms are large and spacious. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was average, but very ok. Would definitely recommend staying here if in the vicinity. Can imagine it as a great venue for a family event or wedding.

Fabulous hotel, the perfect venue for weddings and functions, the breakfast was delicious and the staff, absolutely lovely and chatty. The only thing that let it down was our room was a little tired, especially the bathroom, otherwise a really nice stay

We stayed in the hotel when we come over from England to vist my son and grandson . Lovely area Staff were brilliant kind and friendly the food was out of this world ,would recommend this hotel anytime Kind regards David oliver

The Seven Horseshoes

23/10/2025: We spent a week in Belturbet for family and buisness reasons. After having a meal in the seven horseshoes, well, we had 3 more dinners there day after day. I tend to travel quite a bit in Ireland, and I can say without a doubt this has probably the best quality food I have had the good pleasure of having, combined with lovely service , and a great feel. Plates came out hot, food was prepared on the spot to the highest quality, and the open fire lent the place even a better ambiance. Would return without a doubt, and recommend anyone going through Cavan to have a meal there. I guarantee you wont be disappointed.
29/09/2025: Enjoyed a great dinner here recently. Delicious food. Excellent combination of local bar & top class restaurant. Highly recommend.
