Sheehy's Anchor Down is a restaurant located in Dingle, the most important one in Dingle Penensula. We came here to have dinner last October and we could eat a soup of the day and a home made fisherman's pie, which were very good. Also we drank a Golden Ale beer from West Kerry Brewery, which is not so far from here. Very nice place, decoration and food.

I'm surprised to see such rave reviews. Everywhere we've gone in Ireland we've been treated to excellent hospitality. Until we went to Sheehy's...We were greeted by a grumpy waitress who gave us the worst table in the house even though there were lots of open tables. When she brought us menus, they were out of shrimp and calamari and mussels and other fish. I ordered the Seafood Chowder which was good, but my husband got the Fish Pie, which looked like exactly the same thing with potatoes on top for way more money.
