'The' place to go in Bantry as far as I'm concerned. Just the best bar and how an Irish Bar should be. Had a fire going and boy was it welcome.

13/11/2024: What can one say? It's the real deal as far as traditional irish pubs go. I've never had food here though, just drink.
08/10/2024: One place which is on the Bantry Bucket list. It's a favourite with tourists, the authenticity of the place. Being able to walk back in time gives it the appeal, tourists and the trusty regulars love about the place. As my American friends said while have a Murphys, "Imagine the stories these walls and cobbled stone walk way can tell".

07/09/2024: History education downstairs. Ideal art space upstairs. Lovely coffee & friendly staff.
30/05/2024: The variety of reviews sums up this unique cafe - you will love it or hate it. We thought it was great - something of a time-warp. The tea was excellent - the four of us shared a large pot. 3 of the party had apple crumble (like mum used to make) and I a whisky cake. This was moist and had a subtle hint of whisky. Yes there were hygiene-type issues but for us they added to the character. Note this is cash only.
