We went there a few days back. We had a chicken burger and chicken wrap. It was affordable and filling. However, both of them came with chips and they were not good. They were big chunks and not at all seasoned. We were also confused how the service worked and no one came to us for around 10-15 mins. Then we went up to the counter to place the order. I’d love to come back and see if my current review changes.

Bbq lamb and chicken were not well marinated and missing salt, Rice was good. Overall doesn’t worth the price, next time in Galway, will go somewhere else.

This is a hidden gem in Galway for value and great food. Everything is always fresh and well prepared. Excellent food. The Chicken kebab grill platter is delicious and good value for money with generous portions. Great staff and service.

The best chai latte I have ever had! Absolutely delicious. The only thing is you’ll never enjoy another chai latte again as it’s soo delicious here! They have lovely sides too as I had some naan and hummus too for a nice snack. I will definitely be back! Lovely staff too and clean toilets. Great value for money here!

The food is okay – not the best Turkish I’ve had. Portions are fine, though nothing memorable. Desserts aren’t homemade, so don’t expect much there. The atmosphere was disappointing. The door was left open on a cold day, and the wind made it feel like eating outside. Not the most comfortable dining experience. Overall, just okay – other Turkish restaurants offer better food and ambiance.

17/12/2025: We stayed here for my 40th fantastic place!! They really know how to look after you would definitely recommend.
29/10/2025: I can’t comment as to the quality of the rooms as we only visited for breakfast. I was quite underwhelmed… premium prices for a very bland food offering. I felt rushed, despite the place being relatively empty perhaps best seen when the waitress ushered to clear our table whilst my wife was still eating. I shall not be coming back. Salthill Cottage is only a short drive away and offers better value, nicer surroundings, better food and nicer staff.

The Full Duck Cafe

17/12/2025: We went, cuz a friend recommended us and was really good. The coffee was delicious, difficult to find a good one (coffee) here in Galway. And the food was delicious and generous quantities!! The stuff was friendly and helpful, the place was really busy at that time… We will come back!! ✨
20/11/2025: Everything was perfect about this cafe. Delicious breakfast pancakes and coffee. Awesome staff. Quiet and comfortable. Thank you.
