I have frequented the anvil on many occasions over the last few years Always for it's lunch menu The menu changes from day to day and is not operational on Sundays In all that time I have found them reasonable excellent food Would I return I would and the answer is yes yes

Always great wholesome food. Small or large plate choice. Lovely staff but our timing was bad. Spent more time waiting for toasted sandwich than we had to eat. Wouldn't stop me returning tho!

04/04/2025: Family lunch day out. Food was absolutely delicious , very friendly atmosphere catering for everyone. Lovely and cosy very good portion of Turkey ham and Ribs beautiful. Highly recommend this place
