Arán Artisan Bakery & Bistro in Kilkenny

Have been here a couple of times loved the food each time, very imaginative menu.

Aran Artisan Bakery in Kilkenny is a true gem for anyone who loves fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully crafted baked goods. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a warm, comforting bite, whether you’re popping in for a quick snack or sitting down with a coffee to savor the atmosphere.

Was so excited to come here but from the minute we came in we felt the service was blunt and rushed. Few courtesys shown you’d expect for a place with this reputation eg no eye contact/ a smile when menu given. Moreover our table was moved when I was already sitting down without them even asking in a mannerly way if it was ok (it was but it happening without general courtesys made me feel like we were in a cattle mart( Food only ok-quite dry and could make the same at home. We had the turkish eggs and fallafel with toast. When asked how everything was at end I reluctantly gave my honest feedback that it all felt a bit rushed to and we couldn’t relax despite it being a special occassion to which to my surprise the lady went on the defensive straight away ”well it’s the weekend/ Christmas” to which I replied ”you asked” …LOL!! Customers should be given table for at least 90minutes/120 minutes-75 minutes is not enough to sit back and relax

A nice small place where you can easily chill! Get ur paw friend and chill…! The food is lovely.. we had an irish sambo(breakfast) and a korean chicken wrap…the portions are huge and you cant stop eating!! 🤣🤣🤣perfect place with attentive staff who make your day!! Oh yea- the iced coffee hits the spot- recommend adding vanilla syrup!!

Don’t debate coming in here. Everything is delicious at the bakery and at the restaurant.

Was disappointed as it came so highly reccomended. Coffee was great, pastry was only ok (hate to say this but don't think it was fresh I stand to be corrected) floor staff were lovely front if house not so much.

Delicious. Recommend the cafe and bakery. The food is different than what you normally get at a cafe but it is exceptional. The ingredients are fresh and presentation is on point. The bakery has fresh items and smells good first thing in the morning. The staff were great at both places.

It is hands down the best brunch in Ireland! I knew the place is good before coming there but the food exceeded our expectations. The menu is fun and has classic dishes but also interesting specials to try. You can tell every dish is up to the highest standards and I would always recommend visiting when you‘re around! ❤️

Too many people recommend this place to pass it up. Everything we had was great. Do yourself a favor and at least hit the bakery up, if not the breakfast place.
