Came here in a Friday for dinner. It was honestly amazing, the best food we have had ever I would say. The service was great too Josh was so friendly and went above and beyond to tell us what to do in Galway ! Hope to be back soon :)
This was the best meal of my entire time in Ireland!
Wanted to come for dinner but didn't realize we'd need a reservation and they were booked full.
We went the next morning and very much enjoyed our meal. The food was fresh and had excellent flavors, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
One of my favorite parts was sitting close to the kitchen and seeing how much both the kitchen and the wait staff enjoyed their time together. I've worked in and around food service quite a bit, and seeing a team with that level of enjoyment was a wonderful thing, and it showed up in the quality of the food as well.
Well done, Ard Bia! I can't wait to come back!
Food: 10/10

Cleanliness and vibe: 10/10
Thank you sooo much for the nice evening at this amazing place. We sure are going to come back. 🍀
Nimmos is a lovely place, at the waters edge on the banks of the River Corrib, where Christopher Columbus stepped off a Sailing ship in the 1480's.
From Nimmos you can see the Claddagh Village and the Old Spanish Arch the last vestige of Galways old defensive city wall.
I brought a couple of Canadians over to try some toasted homebaked scones and we had flat whites and cappuccinos that were beautifully decorated and my guests were delighted.
Lovely place
Honestly some of the best food I've had not only in Ireland, but on travels in general. I can't recommend this enough. The beef was some of the best I've ever had.
Quaint, unfussy dining with good service and great food. Casual dining space, centrally located in town. Parking is a bit of a problem. Food was very tasty and the menu changes from time to time. The coffee cake with whiskey sauce was so so GOOD.
We absolutely loved this cozy little restaurant. From the moment we walked in the staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. We each had the toastie and soup of the day and couldn’t stop raving about them for the rest of the afternoon.
The ham and cheese toastie was perfectly cooked with lots of melted cheese and crisp bread. The curried parsnip sweet potato soup was filling, with a nice little kick of heat. A small, well dressed salad rounded out the meal. If you are looking for a delightful lunch this is the place.
26/10/2024: Came two days in a row when visiting Galway! The food is exceptional! Very flavourful and delicious! I highly recommend the tofu dumplings on vegan menu and gungun noodles with dandan sauce with seitan on vegan menu!!!!
21/10/2024: Delicious Black Bean tofu and Gongbao chicken. Came at midafternoon and practically had the place to ourselves. Would definitely go again.
