Great test of Golf . Beautifully laid out course with every hole so different , challenging your golf game in every area . Club house location looks over the course from a high . Had the joy of been part of a large group where we were looked after by a friendly welcome and served up a fine dine menu which would suit all tastes . Strongly recommend this golf club .

Excellent course which was actually quite difficult. Some of the greens are insanely difficult. But a lot of fun to play there. We walked and got a great workout.

Links course not my thing.And in fairness was a windy day. Very unforgiving,and one tee boxs took ages to find as arrow pointing wrong way.. Bring plenty of spare balls.!.

The Pottery Restaurant

30/12/2025: Lovely family friendly hotel with friendly staff, great service and beautifully appointed room with lake and sea views! Rooms are very clean, spacious and modern with good sustainability practices! Had a family dinner in the Pottery restaurant which was excellent. Food was delicious and service outstanding, all overseen by the impeccable Nuno who is a credit to the hotel.
26/12/2025: Paid €5 for a portion of chips at the Arklow Bay Hotel and was genuinely shocked by how small it was — it would have fit on a saucer. On top of that, they weren’t even cooked properly. I felt completely robbed. My sister ordered a half roast dinner for €15, which actually looked nice and was good value, making the chips even more disappointing. Absolutely ridiculous portion for the price. Would not order again.
