I recently visited Griffin College to attend a graduation ceremony, and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the campus. It provided a fantastic backdrop for such a special milestone. What Stood Out: Immaculate Grounds: The entire campus was incredibly clean and well-maintained. It made walking around and taking photos before and after the ceremony an absolute pleasure. Stunning Architecture: The buildings are exceptionally nice, offering a great blend of classic collegiate charm and welcoming design. Event Atmosphere: The layout and upkeep of the college created a dignified but celebratory environment that was perfect for a graduation. Overall, Griffin College offers a highly impressive, picturesque environment. Whether you are a prospective student or just visiting for an event, the pristine grounds and lovely buildings make it a memorable place to be.

Close to town. Canteen-style meals available. A bit noisy at night (road). I recommend it.

As an international student from Türkiye, completing my master’s degree here with my partner was an amazing experience. The lecturers were incredibly supportive, and the International Office staff were always kind and helpful, especially when it came to navigating immigration-related matters. A truly unforgettable experience!

Griffith College Dublin, impressively housed within the historic walls of the former Richmond Bridewell on South Circular Road, is frequently characterized in my professional and local circles as the gold standard for independent higher education in Ireland. From many nuanced discussions with industry specialists and successful alumni, it is merytorically evident that the college provides a high-caliber, hands-on environment, particularly lauded by my acquaintances for its exceptional ability to deliver market-responsive programs in journalism, computing, and law. It is genuinely heartening to observe how the institution maintains such a transparent and respectful dedication to smaller class sizes and personalized mentorship, qualities that the broader public identifies as the primary reason for the high employability and confidence of its graduates. Many individuals I know personally emphasize the college’s sophisticated synthesis of a vibrant, multicultural student life and professional-grade facilities as a distinguished hallmark of its educational philosophy. The institution's relentless commitment to academic excellence and practical skill acquisition is frequently reflected in the success stories shared by my peers, who often highlight the school's unique role as a bridge between traditional theory and the fast-paced demands of the Irish workforce. In the collective view of informed observers, Griffith College stands as a premier pillar of private education, rightfully respected for its elegant ability to merge a rich historical setting with a forward-looking, global academic mission. Ultimately, this institution remains a vital and agile cornerstone of the Dublin educational landscape, offering a transformative journey that is as substantively rich as it is professionally empowering.

Bar Bar

02/06/2026: The Bar With No Name is a great spot for cocktails and has a unique atmosphere. It feels like a large, laid-back speakeasy with plenty of character and a fun crowd. I had a gin-based cocktail that reminded me of a Gin Sour, along with a Neck Oil beer, and both were excellent. The cocktails were well balanced and the drinks menu offered plenty of variety. It's the kind of place that works equally well for a date night or an evening out with friends. The only downside was the wait for drinks. Even on a Thursday night, service at the bar was quite slow, and it took a long time for cocktails to arrive. If you're visiting with a larger group, be prepared to be flexible. There are couches and larger tables available, but the venue is clearly popular, and finding a place to sit or even stand together can be challenging once it gets busy. Overall, a stylish and lively cocktail bar with great drinks, a relaxed vibe, and a cool speakeasy feel. Just arrive early if you're hoping to secure a good spot.
