Ashtons Gastropub in Dublin

Amazing. First time I have been there since it was changed. Excellent service and beautiful food. Scallop starter was a bit small for the price.

I came here with a large group for the first time last Thursday. It has a cozy vibe, but it can be real cramped at places. However, there was sufficient space outside. Pints were fine. Staff friendly. I didn't try the food but the restaurant areas were full. My only issue is it'd be nice if there were male toilets closer to the bar area.

Food was very good, as were the staff 😊 It's a bit pricey though

What can say myself and my family have been coming here for years… and know paddy when he was a little boy. The new refurb is just incredible… but most importantly David in the bar is just breathtaking, so attentive, passionate with customers and staff and how he operates under pressure was outstanding.

Been going to Ashtons for 30 years although first visit since the big refurbishment.They did a phenemonal job, the food offering is top class (best steak I've had on a long time) and the staff were exceptional. Bringing my Mum back and I know she'll be blown away. Highly recommend, even the pub with the magical snug is worth a visit!

Took a group of 16 there. Service was fantastic. Good knowledge on wines, nothing was too much trouble and all with enthusiasm. They’ve done a great job in refurb. Place has real charm. We’ll be back!

The crew behind the place did a large renovation and the place is looking magnificent now. Really cosy feel in Tom's bar, staff are amazing, so welcoming and so helpful. Great pint of Guinness! The food in the bar is wonderful. Am yet to check out the restart but really looking forward to it. The river side terrace is beautiful and downstairs is a great events space. It's quickly become our new local and it's down to the attention to detail and the brilliant staff. Cocktails are a hit too.

A bit pricey for food (Sunday roast) that was lukewarm at best and poorly presented. Wine was pricey also at 15 euro per glass. Service was good.
