It was incredibly quiet and nice before the lunch arrivals they had a really nice menu and a carvery lunch available likely waiting further 1 pm arrival. Lots of seating in different locations in the room offering hideaway options with a large bar in the middle. Toilet access was downstairs from the eating area and also down there was like a celebration/ party / group area with outdoor seating

This place gets 5/5. The friendliest staff. The young girl behind the bar was so hard working, but smiling and very highly professional all the time. It was a very busy evening for a Monday, but the girl did an amazing job. Food was delicious. The decor and the ambiance of the place is really really nice.

Had fish and chips. Batter on fish was overcooked but fish was nice I prefer chunky chips but chips where like McDonald's chips only cooked 3 times. Also my meal was over priced compared to other places. Beautiful pub and lovely staff.

Banging place was a bloody good night out. And two be fair can't remember how much I spent, I don't bother checking as a fear of a heart attack. As long as the card still works after I'm good 😂.

27/08/2024: Called in at lunch time today, very busy but they seated us after around 3mins as we were lucky a few people were just leaving. My hubby had Irish Stew (comes with bread) and a pint, I had homemade cottage pie and a hot chocolate, came to around €48 which is expensive but considering you're right in the heart of the Temple Bar area that's standard price. Everything we had was top quality, really good quality beef in cottage pie and they also give a side of gravy that's so tasty and full of roast vegetables, it really compliments the dish. Hubby said lamb in his stew was so tender and tasty! Trust me you won't need to order the additional chips (€3 extra) as the mains on their own are huge!! Staff very friendly and courteous. Bathroom was clean and functional, no complaints. All in all a really good meal in an historic area of Dublin ☺️
